the changing eating habit abruptly was addressed in the episode where she stopped flour. he warned her against changing eating habits, so it's either bad writing or... he does indeed care about what she eats and eating junk randomly is not wrong, she had a goal in mind as of then so eating that type of stuff would defeat the purpose of what she was working out for.

also i agree asking how she'd feel if she got called a pig was wrong. i did not find it particularly funny, i suppose it was supposed to be one of THOSE jokes
