After watching this drama I am finding all other new dramas boring…
Also, after watching romance-so-real in this drama I am finding romance in all other dramas fake

Concentrating on viewership … just take famous stars for views... however the script is not that good.. Kdramas these days only care about marketing and views.. the dramas are not as good as they used to be…. storylines are full of cliches...it’s like watching same characters and storyline with different actors.. these dramas will be forgotten in few months.. miss older Kdramas with excellent scripts which used to be stress relievers not boring

Why did I watch this after Hidden Love? Will watch it again after a month or so .. maybe will like it then.
Hidden love is so romantic and realistic .. and this one is full of cliches and nonsense. Don’t know what’s going on with Kdramas these days. I had high expectations here.

Chinese entertainment has always been mainstream. They gave us legends like Jacky Chan, Bruce Lee, Jet Li and many more.

I think they started giving good budget to dramas now that’s why Cdramas are also getting international audiences now. I believe we will see them growing more in the coming years. I love the simplicity of their storylines(without too much influence from western cultures/ pure love stories/family stories/ stories of Gods etc).

Same. I started watching a lot of Cdramas recently.
Also, I don’t like western remakes Kdramas have started doing, and recent trend of making 2 parts for dramas which could very well end in 1 series.

Totally agree with you. I am very shocked that AOS has been voted as top Kdrama. Don’t know who voted here.

AOS is one of the most overhyped drama. There are other Kdramas which deserve to be on this list rather than AOS, as it was very ordinary(with male actors wearing too much lipstick and foundation, makeup should look natural). If I had seen this drama as my first Kdrama based on these recommendation, I would have had very bad impression.

Thank god the first two Kdramas I saw were Goblin and Coffee Prince. Dramas like these made me switch to Kdramas from Western dramas. I particularly like older Kdramas, they have excellent music, storyline and acting.

I really liked Love Between Fairy & Devil and The Untamed, these drama made me fan of CDramas. Excellent music; actors with great acting skill and screen presence(without too much lipstick on male actors); amazing storyline. I started watching Cdramas back to back after watching these dramas.
The recent drama I saw was Reset, and it was outstanding. One of the best 2022 drama.
