so random but the editing and the cuts in this show are SO SO GOOD. it makes the drama sm better. the intro scene…
yeah it's masterful directing! highly recommend "call it love" if you want to see more of the director. also so true @ wooseokification lol, they're both buddies irl so it's really funny seeing that they both play band idols in dramas
Absolutely loving this! Both leads are superbly playing their parts. She does an excellent job of switch her personas…
omg as someone who's been bullied that scene was so gratifying, even more so for her i believe.. it's adding an extra bit of determination on top of the one she already had because of being raik's fan. i have a theory the prosecutor's family might have had a hand in whatever happened to her father, maybe he was wrongfully accused. i'm so excited for next week because we're even getting the cohabitation trope, it'll definitely lead to some fun situations π€
episode 2 was so good... kim jae young doing what he does best; his intense scenes where he's crying or yelling…
AND CAN WE TALK ABOUT THE DIRECTING? IT'S SO GOOD??? the framing, positioning and use of negative space... you can very much tell the PD is the same one from call it love.
i also especially loved the scene where sena reminisces about the past and then raik shows up next to her, in a VERY import conversation about the image we have of our idols. she saw his sincerity once a long time ago, but while leaning on him for comfort, she too made up an image in her head, and now has to come to terms with reality.
"you created me. so you should decide the answer."

and i LOVE what we're getting with sena's backstory, the way she came to knew raik and the connection with the prosecutor! and her absolute resolve facing both him and raik because she's confident, she's not the girl she used to be and she WILL win this case. i'm so curious about her father's incident too, it was absolutely part of her drive to become a lawer.
i feel like they're building up so many interesting things here. this drama will have me in a chokehold for the next few weeks π kim jae young saved me out of my year-end drama slump in 2024, and it's the same this year again π
for work company provides for some events but they dont have security other than when they are specifically hired…
adding on to this and it's also because sometimes staff or people close to the idols get bribed by sasaengs to sell private information, it's similar to when they're able to figure out exactly which flight idols are on etc.
as someone myself who's a melodrama nerd... you'll only like this drama of you have previously loved dramas like…
i was absolutely obsessed with call it love. i do love the melo genre but admittedly i neglect it a little in favor of other genres. but sometimes we just need a slow paced show like this because everything is so fast and flashy these days. i feel like people should be more open to genres like this, but if they can't they should just stay away.
losing my mind a little bit (positive) at how similar jun do hyun's styling is to yoon minju from brewing love…
loved the first two episodes. i needed a slow, down to earth drama again. also love all the leads, especially seo hyunjin and yoo jaemyung! i was not ready for how heavy it was gonna be but i feel like this will turn out to be a really good healing drama. the directing and sound feel so natural and minimalistic, it's refreshing inbetween all the stuff i usually watch.
so funny i'm crying they made a fake stan account for maeng sena on twitter, she posted some thread with the group images and today after the broadcast she tweeted "my real life has gotten so busy i don't think i can come online anymore i'm sorry" π€£π€£π€£perfect fourth wall break
it's on netflix but they're not promoting it as it's not their original drama and they also have no exclusive…
yeah that's what i thought. i was also wondering why they didn't even post the trailer on sns despite doing it for other dramas so this might be the only plausible reason
