i immediately thought the poster had some great graphic design, as opposed to what we see from other shows at times. idk why ppl are being dramatic like it's good design π"it's giving unhinged" yeah you know it's supposed to be an action comedy <3
guys where are u watching tjfh kisskh is not working for me π is it not working for u guys also? i want to…
maybe check your adblock situation? it works fine for me. otherwise you can try cinema.7xtream.com or dramaday.me for direct downloads/subs. also onstream is rlly good if you want an app!
it might show up on viki later, though i'm not sure about the US. if not you can just check goplay.su, kisskh.co or dramaday.me for good alternative sources (they're safe). the show will likely be on at least 2 of these. don't miss out on good shows just because streamers are stingy about licensing!
always thought i was the only one thinking she's definitely not a chameleon actress. some just aren't suited for certain genres/roles and that's fine. not every actor can disappear in their characters. a chameleon actor is someone where, for example, if you were given a picture of them in character, the name that would pop up in your head would immediately be the character's name and not the actor's. like "the rock" is just the rock for most people. not a bad actor by any means but he's kind of the same in every movie and he isn't really remembered for interesting or unique character portrayal. han so hee is like that to me in a way lol
is it just me or are dramas where the FL is into the ML first becoming increasingly rare these days??? everyones always swooning over the green flag ml who falls harder and first but its basically super common these days in romcoms. like i cant believe im excited seeing the fl falling first again
finally this was added! it's also going to be a period drama β "[...] the process of an agent of the National Intelligence Service, who was loyal to the state power during the Fifth Republic (era of Chun Doo Hwan's military dictatorship), transforming into a guardian of the youth while fighting against the power of the times." https://www.sportsseoul.com/news/read/1500275?ref=naver
seeing that it was announced in march, i'm sure he won some inspiration after the political clown show SK had to go through last and early this year (and is arguably still ongoing) that reminded many koreans of the troubled past. after all the fifth republic ushered in after CDW's coup and him declaring martial law to suppress political activity - like the youth uprising in Gwangju - and was one of the most socially and politically turbulent times the country has endured. i think we can expect another drama with park jae bum's characteristic anti-establishment tone, so i'm really excited!!
culinary class wars winning makes sense, considering that baeksang criteria has started veering heavily towards topicality, buzz and wider cultural impact than just acting performance and narrative content of a work. the impact CCW had on the restaurant industry is certainly not to be understated. i do think they should maybe have introduced a seperate category or something, even if the daesang isnt specific. that said i barely ever agree with what they choose to award & nominate bc my genre preferences are miles away from theirs... and this year it was no different πͺ
