Sun's message to Changge: "Copy that. Be there or be square." These translators are killing me xD
I absolutely didn't understand this sentence while watching. What did he mean here? I feel like the person who didn't understand the joke when everyone was laughing at it. XD

oh i don't know.. I only have sentences that I can make about a few areas I like. I think when you write a review, you should evaluate it from every angle. so I am not sure I can write anything inclusive :D

Also you are not deprived of the striking moments in the following eps. Even if the script and acting sucked, if I could watch even a crumb of such scenes, I would continue to watch it. I love martial arts and I can admit that, seeing what is here, what I love is exactly this type of thing. It is clever, realistic and integrates with the characters ... Maybe I'm exaggerating I don't know ... I don't really care XD

When you see that even small and simple scenes have such good choreographies, you know that it will be perfect when you come across a huge encounter / duel scene. If you are watching leaning back, you approach the screen with the feeling of "yes, something great is coming" and you change your posture without realizing it. (what happened to me in ep 23 ... XD) and .. woww ... your feelings are not deceiving you, this is really something else. Those awesome spins and swing the sword, bending over and turning the sword over his head, those dodges, scrape his opponent's sword from his hand, that treacherous dagger that comes out while thinking 'yes it's over' (:X), the secret weapon of the secret weapon; the chain and wrapping it around the neck (I was thinking how many more layers this weapon has :D) (Sheer is very devious), getting rid of it and wrapping it around his opponent's feet, pulling that chain and saving him when he was about to turn into a dead man .... Fast / slow motion when needed and a completely realistic and harmonious choreography. Just .. I haven't watched anything like this in my life: I don't know how many times I watched it again. (Suggest me something I can see things like that XD)

just as how a person who knows martial arts can make difference from a normal person in any situation in real life , here you see that every character who knows how to fight makes that difference when they find the appropriate ground.
Martial arts cease to be just an ornament of certain impressive scenes and become the true abilities of the characters in the series. The process convinces you of this. Here, in the way ML rescues FL from falls the roof, the way FL pulls herself from his arms (throws herself, turns quickly, and passes in front of him), points a dagger at ML then swiftly turns it on herself and the way ML blocks this move... and in more scenes than I can count (including characters except of ML / FL) you watch trained characters who know how to fight and their delightful clever hand / foot / body movements.

One of the most beautiful things in this series is its script blended with martial arts. Generally, the fight scenes in a series are much better and more impressive when there is a serious fight against each other (in fact, most of them are very unrealistic and you often watch the winged guys (they fly here and there) :)), you won't find those awesome sword-wielding characters in small brawls or passes. But what is done here is really different. What started this was the first scenes in the first episode. The scene where AS pushes Yeoro (I'm not sure that's spelled like this :)), catchs the whip in the air and drops the man. It was a beautiful and well shot scene. But you might think it was shot just to make an impressive scene for the entrance. Then CG's little dagger fight with LSM, a football-like game scene (that you would probably just pass) with a choreography perfect enough to lock you in your seat, and small but neat moves here and there. But these could all be traps set up to bind you to the first episode (and they may not keep doing this). (Actually, it happened that way: D what was holding me was that juju game, frankly). So you continue without paying much attention. In the second episode, CG pulls A'dou back to hide him in the kitchen, while she closes the cover, grabs the fallen plate with her foot and slides it in. In the scene that could be easily fudge, such beautiful movements... These little things start to make you feel "oo... they seem to will do something nice about it ..." As you continue to watch, you will see small or large movements that will satisfy you in almost every episode (as I said, the nice thing is that the small movements are also well designed.) Almost every scene where two pieces of iron or wood hits each other has the potential to make you say "waw nice move".

Oh no. I'm not. just a viewer... If you can only observe at what point you enter in, you can also appreciate what caused it. so just experience and thinking I guess :D

I can understand from the excitement in your comment that you found yourself in this XD I hit the right spot because I was too. Experience is infallible :D Especially since our first impression was in a Tang outfit, even that terrific whip-pulling gesture couldn't penetrate our skin. (I mean.. wasn't impress us enough) :D

Yes you are right. It also takes time for a viewer addicted to subtitles to notice such an actor. If you started watching directly, you will stick to the subtitles to understand the story in the first episodes. You won't notice the actors' facial expressions unless they are excessive and noticeable (which is far from natural) and their acting won't affect you. You might even think, 'Oh ... his acting is so banal' until you come across a striking scene that will tear you away from the subtitles or read a comment 'hey .. you saw that expression right?'. A scene stripped of the conversation is a golden opportunity to discover the acting of an actor using micro expressions. The moment you think 'He was amazing here ...' you realize the potential and start scanning the expressions in his/her face and eyes in every scene, because it is a pleasure to watch all the emotions there. This turns into an exciting game, and with every turn in the script, you wonder 'how will he portray it' and wait for the scene of that person to arrive. Those who watch the scenes rewinding several times are usually from this crew (except for those who love only the actors/ drama) Because they don't want to miss any expression, it would be a pity if they missed.

In a webtoon I read, there was a sentence like this from a film director: "The best method actors don't try to express emotions, they try to make other people feel." The first thing the sentence reminds me of was the tragic scene that started at the end of ep 24 and continued at 25. I could feel every passing emotion there.

When the Great Khan said that the Sun was from the central plain and (when) relations with the grassland strained, I was seriously afraid that grassland parts would end and the rest would continue in Tang XD (I mean... in Tang outfits :X)
