why is there any increase in the number of dumb weak annoying female leads? How about more strong queen independent FLs

IMO it's his best drama

Chinese version = dark, mature, complex/detailed plot
Korean version = typical shoujo romance
I prefer the chinese version, mainly because of the strong female lead. I think the Korean version is better in romance/comedy and you feel better watching it, but the modern music feels out of place sometimes. Also chinese version is actually histroically accurate, battle of the princes upon Emperor Kangxi's death was very famous and inspired many shows.
FL actually has a role in the chinese version, she has her own passion and is actually the emperor's close confident

because you're a low iq watcher and thus prefer eye candy rather than actual depth and maturity. Go back to watching your kdramas with dumb weak female leads and eye candy male leads(which is unrealistic)

another thing is that the FL is more mature and stronger

umm what? Here the FL is actually smart and mature, she's independent and strong. Unlike the koream FL who was idiotic and annoying and ended up getting abandoned by 2 men. In this one the FL was the one who left both because she prioritises herself and not some man

ok but am i the only one who thinks this drama wouldv'e been better if instead of the FL, the ML feel for the original crown prince who didn't die and thought he liked the FL but then he realises he was GAY and in love with the crown prince.

lmfao this is so funny tho, all of her exes stay super devoted to her and help her throughout, they don't end up with anyone else. While there's only one side couple where the guy was a unnattractive worker(they cute tho). This show was the height of mary sue
