I never care for heterosexual relationships in BLs but that guy who likes HwaHwa is adorable.
It's hard to differ Zol's fiction and real-life romance tho. (is it just me?) I'm not feeling Zon and Saifah's chemistry yet.
And the time jumps make it complicated.
I don't find the humour entertaining. Maybe they'll improve it. Anyway the scenes aren't draggy and the actors show so many emotions rapidly so it's entertaining.

I like Saint's character here. I didn't like that he was always too nice in LBC. Here he seems at ease with the character and he has sass. FighterTutor scenes are also my favourite. I'm kinda confused about why fighter stayed with HwaHwa tho? Maybe he's tryna hide his gay self or is tryna keep her away from Tutor because he's afraid Tutor will start to fall for her?

Maybe it's too soon to judge? Maybe she'll get better with time and understand when she's older. But I HATE those seniors like please gimme a BREAK. I hope Zon actually gets something bad out of this and ppl see what they did wrong. (excuse my sadistic self). Because if someone wrote a fic about me it AND was a gxg I would be seriously pissed.

I know. I don't like it either. The drama doesn't justify or show it as normal behaviour tho. The character is just there for critics and the audience to discuss and view such toxic and disturbing behaviour. Being fujoshi doesn't support LGBTQ but rather makes it a weird fetish which is insulting. Her writing the book is an important part of the story but she should've asked for permission. Either way the character exists just like a homophobic or racist character. Not a character to be liked.
I just wish some new likeable female character is introduced.

I'm waiting for a super likeable female friend. Like all the girls so far are either annoying, whinny or fujoshi.

I agree when Type gets jealous he gets all possessive and shows Tharn is his. Tharn just looks like a little sad puppy when jealous and it physically hurts.

Yeah the only good things-
1.Some scenes of Win and Team
2.The girl best friend and girls with good personalities than annoying bitchy personalities.
3.a good original story (even though it was the only original thing about it)
4.Everyone having something they're passionate about (though the cooking scenes were way too long and some episodes ended up being a cookery guide)
5.The guy who played In was actually cute. (^ U ^)
6.The friends of In and their acting.

I won't be able to stop if I talk about the bad stuff.

I genuinely think it would've been better if they did 12 episodes and stuck with it. Most parts seemed too draggy. I dropped it. I know a lot of ppl did. A 10/10 is SERIOUSLY disturbing.

God please make Mew and Gulf fall for each other!!! I'd literally die! They give me life.

well many can't go past several episodes so it doesn't deserve 10/10 rankings. Ppl hate it because the fandom literally thinks of nothing when writing reviews. I could go on and on about how the best it could get is a 8/10.

Some might agree and some might disagree. But I'm gonna state the things I've gathered so far.

OK so since ppl talk about how bad the sister being a fujoshi is...the drama doesn't justify her behaviour. It's toxic and harmful towards the society. It doesn't support the LGBTQ community but rather makes everyone uncomfortable. The character is there just like a homophobic or racist person. The critics and the audience talk about it and view how disturbing and wrong it is. The sister writing the story was an important part of the drama. Either way the character is there and it's good that a BL gives a chance for ppl to talk about such behaviour.

what I liked-
The part where Zon is told to focus more on his studies. Here u get to see how easily parents can be misunderstood! The fact that Zon says that it's unfair that his sister gets to write while he doesn't and how he views it as a matter of double-standards. And also how he sees it as a way that his parents don't support his future dream.
None of his friends gives him mature advice or helps him. It's very realistic and relatable.
I like that Saint isn't always way too nice here. I like this character more than the one in LBC because it seems like he's more at ease in acting .
I love the chemistry of both couples. (My fav is Fight n Tutor.)
This series seems refreshing and some scenes made me laugh. It doesn't have dark or deep concepts but entertaining. Just what I was waiting for after all the dark themed BLs of 2019.
Zon and Fight are WAY TOO ATTRACTIVE like I sometimes get distracted and forget to focus on the story. (excuse my perverted self)
I loved the anime parts too. They were cute! AND CAN WE TALK ABOUT ZON'S MOM'S TATTOO??? I LOVE IT.
The acting was good even though many new actors are introduced.
I like love-hate relationships because it bores me when the couple is always nice to each other.
And u might say that the scenes with the other two couples of her stories were unnecessary. It would've been way better if those scenes weren't that long but it's a way of showing how the curse is working so those scenes aren't unnecessary.
The fact that HwaHwa and Fight pity Tutor is realistic. They shouldn't and Tutor def doesn't want pity but it shows how most ppl feel when they get to know such things about u.

what I disliked-
The timeframe was confusing at first. But I'm glad they made it clear in the first episode. Maybe I'm just dumb.
There were too many characters like GIVE MY BRAIN A BREAK! It makes it hard to decide the character traits of the main characters. I hope they reduce the number of scenes with side characters and give them less screen time.
And Zon's group's humour wasn't very entertaining to me but it's ok. I hope it gets better. And then there were parts which were over-acted. Especially that teacher. I'm very happy that none of the actors were awkward tho.
The music isn't very catchy.
Since this has many female characters I was hoping at least one of them were super likeable. But many of them were just bleh. Some are fujoshi and annoying, some are bitches and some are whinny. Maybe it's too soon to judge.

well u should watch UWMA (or I might say force urself to watch till the end) and read the reviews and see what I'm talking about. U seem very new to Thai BL culture. What's expected from TharnType is fulfilled. A 3.5 would've been fair.

I read it. Every fandom over-exaggerates things. This is not a psychological drama. I agree they should've done more with those parts. But it's not necessary to show how Type gets over it. The same way it's not necessary for characters to have good chemisrtry in horror movies. It's not expected by many. U can't blame the toxicity of the characters and the relationship when it's literally about the growth of both of them. Ppl watch BLs mostly for good acting, chemistry, music, humour, drama and character development. This has a seriously good mix of all of them so it's okay to give such a rank because what u expect is fulfilled. I suggest u watch mental illness stories if that's what u're looking for. 2.5 is way too low for all the good things it contains.

and the fact that TharnType is given 1.5 and 2.5 in some reviews is BEYOND me. Like listing the flaws there's the fact that it doesn't show how Type grows out of his trauma gradually, Tharn doing things to him without consent, the fact that the relationship was toxic in the beginning and how Lhong didn't go to jail. They are like the only flaws I saw and it was so interesting. There were interesting scenes, amazing music, great chemistry, personality and relationship growth, good sass and good humour.
