I noticed that too... He wasnt that close to any of the hwarangs,hell! He wasnt even friends or close to the majority of them,but just because he's the male lead,he was the leader and then one all the guys wanted (out of the blue)for him to be king*eyeroll*...That was sooo not realistic and akward to watch.
Even though " High & Low"(drama &movies) is basically the Exile Tribe idol group in almost all characthers, is an excellent crime drama very well produced and stunning fight scenes... I didnt knew about jpop idols before I watched it ,I was surprise to find out later that almost all those men were boyband members even the old ones...
I agree...Even at HangSun's funeral even the "extra Hwarangs" showed real sadness and they were crying and SunWoo showed nothing...,I was looking at him waiting for a tear,a "pain face" or something but he was a stone...nothing !!
I saw a taiwanese drama called "taste of love" and the product placement on that one was blatantly and very annoying...As soon as the female lead of her rival were in their room for some reason the placement of YOLO makeup cosmetics and the use of HTC cellphones was too much (they sometimes even recited the features of the cell and how great it was)...The whole line of skin care products in a tiny dressing table was way too much for me.
I'm watching this drama just for Hyungsik great acting and Ban Ryu, Soo Ho, Soo Yeon interaction!!! I like…
Thats one of the things I hate about this drama ...He is better than the other hwarangs who are rich and has been practicing sword fighting and books since childhood...he was raised the poorest of the poor,yet he manage to raise above everybody else...yeah right !!
I agree...I havent been able to finish it cause I find it sooo boring! I felt asleep in the first episode,that was a good indication to me that I wasnt connecting with the story.
