That's great! Yeah, I didn't go into the show expecting much and I really disliked Ariel's character in ISWAK. The first 10 minutes was just about her in a job and about her hitting the big 30 so it didn't really draw me in. Chen Berlin however well he just lit the drama up and from then on I found myself addicted. I finished the show the next day and it became one of my top fave dramas.

I know of the anime but I haven't watched it. The drawing style really puts me off... You are the first to think my username is because of the anime. Others think it's because of Avril's song which it isn't since I didn't know of the song back when I made it.
I have just watched eps 28 and cried a bucket over Mokdan dying scene. For me, Mok Dan's death gutted me. Because…
This should be a spoiler for the few that are starting the drama and have not yet reached the end. However I fully agree with you. I loved Mok Dan so much more than Ueno Rie.
The actress wasn't as great but Mok Dan's personality/character made her lovable. Even though this is fictional it does not hide the fact that loved ones die everyday. I am sure that back in the days Korea tried to win back their homeland that there were many beautiful romances just like Kang To and Mok Dan's.
Bridal Mask you have destroyed me but you have also made me very happy. For the first time in a drama I went through so many emotions at the same time. I was angry, depressed, happy, romantic, hopeful and torn. I seriously feel like I have no more tears to shed for other dramas. My eyes are dry and right now I feel like they will forever be dry. In the end you had me in pieces crying into my pillow as if a closed one had died and then right at the very end I am hopeful and happy with tears in my eyes. I am in a spin of emotions and now I am left missing those 3 months I spent every week excited waiting for Wednesday and Thursday to happen. I do feel a bit better since Nice Guy will be airing next week which is written by my favourite screenwriter but I know for certain nothing right now will ever top Bridal Mask for the moment. I didn't even know it was possible...
This is the perfect example for a 54 episode drama gone down the right road instead of passing through the short cut with bumps and scrapes down the way. One thing long 60 minute episode dramas have when trying to hit the 50+ episode mark is the pacing. The drama can start of wonderful and you'll think you've come across a gem. Sadly because of the pacing and development of the story it starts to drag in the last 10 episodes and that's a solid 10 hours. Twinkle Twinkle thankfully NEVER dragged and I never found it boring! NEVER!
The romance between Han Jung Won and Song Seung Joon was great! but compared to others it did lack however they did have their cute chemistry and they had their fair share of memorable scenes. Song Seung Joon's personality and Han Jung Won's while different they mixed together perfectly to create the perfect remedy.

You don't exactly see a wedding but near the very end when she is in labor she grabs him and says something along the lines of "You better be my slave forever" etc etc for him to smile and happily agree. Happy ending <3

I had the exact same reaction when I saw the teasers I thought "Wow! this is going to be amazing" and I honestly thought from the very start when I first found the drama that a wedding was going to be involved (blame the name)However there was no sight of a wedding just some small talk about the possibility. Anyway I had high hopes for the show and when I started the drama I wasn't that impressed but I stuck with the drama until episode 6 and then until the very last week before the finale episodes I went "Right! I am going to finish this!!!" and I sat myself down and I thought I was going to be bored out of my mind but I actually started to really enjoy the show.

Thank you for the friend request. I see you dropped I Do, I Do, I guess it doesn't suit everybody's tastes. The drama is pretty simple and it took me a long 8 episodes to realise the quality of the drama. It wasn't love at first sight but I gradually fell in love.
I love this drama so much! I remember watching the first two episodes in one go and I didn't like it that much so I put it on hold. After a few months I came back to where I left off and she had just arrived at the Vineyard and the drama just picked up from there. I found Yoon Eun Hye's character great despite her city girl attitude. I found her Grandfather hilarious!! The amount of times I felt like rushing to the toilet and Taek Gi was just AWESOME! He was everything I love in my Kdrama main leads <3
Does anyone know where you can watch/download his movies? I really want to watch everything he has been in ^^
You can download all of his dramas and movies with English subtitles on various sites or you can download drama batch files (contains all episodes)on Asiatorrents. I have all of his works downloaded to re-watch over and over. Oh and did I mention AMAZING QUALITY.
Joo Won has improved so much as an actor. He always seems to immerse himself into his characters. He becomes the character. I was watching a Baker King video with Joo Won's song 'My Love' today and I realised how much he has changed and built himself up to be this outstanding actor. He was FANTASTIC in Baker King (My favourite character) but looking at him in Bridal Mask and Ojakgyo Brothers he was changed so much which most actors cannot as they still stay flaccid after many years of acting Sung Yuri for example. His emotions in Baker King were quite believable but in Bridal Mask he has become Lee Kang To < he is that believable you can definitely see a big change in his acting.
I can't say the drama is bad but I can't exactly say it's amazing. It had comedy but in my opinion comedy can only last for a certain amount of time. There was no chemistry between the main leads they looked more like best friends who always joked around than two lovers who had were starting a relationship. It dragged, comedy got old and there was no romance to spark the drama. This drama took a while to complete but I got there for Bi Rain.
Slow down people, The drama hasn't even started and you are already putting it on your completed list. WOW 7.98 rating guys in the future thanks for making me see that this drama is worth watching ~ just joking. Thank god nobody has favourited the drama yet. Do you's really believe that just because Minho and a few other kpop singers are starring in one drama that the drama will automatically be amazing? I'm not saying the drama will be crap but take for instance Yonghwa... Everybody thought that Heartstrings would be amazing just because the lead singer from C.N blue would be the main lead. Ahem... It was horrid well in my opinion.
