Tbh I was enjoying this, but since I've seen/watching the original too and of course some scenes are very similar to Luther its very hard not to compare and I just felt like I was re watching the same thing (and i don't really like to re watch things weirdly enough). I think if you haven't seen the original Luther or you can stand to re watch shows again then its a pretty good show so far, just not for me. The cast is pretty sick too, the female lead is awesome.
This is so bad. The idea of revealing their darkest secrets was interesting especially when dating someone there's always the chance of finding out somethign shocking about them later. However, I really disliked the hosts in general, the rude commentaries they made just made it uninteresting to watch tbh. And the amount of slut-shaming towards the girls was even more ridiculous whilst some of the men would be praised for similar secrets. The rape jokes and transphobic comments don't make it any better. it's crazy, of course, no surprise thats exactly the society we live in this day not only japanese society.
Here's me thinking this was a 16 episode (although i did feel that there wasn't much to the plot for it to be a 16 episode long drama)... but either way JIIII SOOOOOOOOOOO.
Watching episode 1, can we talk about how impressive Jung In Sun was in her role. I love her in waikiki too.
This is the 3rd chance i'm giving this drama. Hopefully I make it through lol, although the age gap is quite bothersome. Although this is two years old, I wish they'd stop casting young actresses specifically with older actors.
Kdramas really are the best, the OSTs are always a bonus ;)
