I think you felt bored because the screen time of Trin and Tanwa being together is a bit limited in the first 3 episodes. Actually, it's a slow-burn romance when it comes to Tanwa and Trin but I still love it. You'll not enjoy this series if you're here for a pure romance but it's up to you if you continue it.

so this Victor guy has a thing for Trin. I already sense it since from the start.

Have you watched 1000 Years Old? It’s about an immortal vampire who finds his soulmate in every lifetime. In the final episode, he’s shown sitting beside his now very old soulmate, patiently waiting for him to be reborn and grow up again. It really reminded me of this series—the only difference is that this one uses a body-swapping theme instead.
