Not a through review but i havent felt like it was made for a male gaze while watching it. It was shot with a pretty neutral perspective imo.

-This drama peaked at Ep 7-8 ish. If it had continued like that i would have scored this better. Especially last episode was basically makjang
-Pete's acting in ep 13 was spectacular.
- I know Vegas&Pete is toxic yada yada but their relationship was the only thing excited me after Kinn&Porsche got together.
-Steamy scenes were cheffs kiss.
-I just want Chay's crying ass to disappear from earth.
-I dont buy Mr.Korns bullshit. I feel like we will get a second season after that ending.
-Whats up the the actress who plays Porsche's mother looking younger than her son??
- Vegas's outfits stole the show.
-Takhun is a gay icon and i wont hear otherwise

I wish the main cast has some fresh faces, I know they cast famous actors to attract viewers but im kinda tired seeing same faces in every drama.

Its a crime that a couple of people beside me have seen this gem.While it may be a little slow for some,its a touching human drama set in WW2 era. It neither is glorifying the war nor overdramatizing the events. It just tells the story of a young couple caught up in a war.And the movie does this in a simple and sophisticated way.

Chinese redcarpets are definitely more colorful than korean ones, at least not everyone wears black or white.

Im screaming Nooo as a turkish bc i can already imagine how it will turn out. 90% of the remakes turns out not so good imo. Lets pray this one will be like the rare good ones,Anne or Baba Candır.

i feel the same about the romance,inmates' antics are way more interesting...although jaehee's and juho's scenes dont bother me that much.

I didnt understand that part either.In the original movies,there is a good motive for him to do that but here suwoo didnt do anything that bad to be left to die imo.

I kept calling him as cute kouhai in Nigeru :D he definitely looks different with beard though he is handsome both way.
