I've discovered him in A Class of her own and he is very excellent in it! So charismatic, sleek and subtle! His acting seems so natural and composed at the same time, it's very refreshing and enjoyable!

The promotional photos of Gong Zi wearing an armour and hiding behind a tree are killing me: they are not in the dramas and make me shout again since 2018: 'I want more Bloody Romance, even cut scenes of the first season!!!'

Always the bubbly (read 'stupid and loud') female lead that brings a smile to the manly man intelligent male lead. I won't lie, I'm getting sick of these misogynistic cliches and barrely have the will and energy to watch them anymore... Hope this drama will surprise me in a good way...

I hope it won't spoil you the desire of watching it, but yes, he sacrifices himself. He is really a selfless character and a nice male lead.
I can't really compare him to an other ML because it seems that I haven't seen enough dramas with nice ML but maybe there's Gao Zhan in Legend of Lu Zhen.
