I TOTALLY agree. I don't even know how I finished it. It was really good at the beginning, but things just got so bad to the point that I was laughing at the characters. I've never rated a drama so low.
L&R has a fanatic fans drama....very horrible.....
horrible? Just because you don't like this drama? You seem like the horrid one here. Don't go onto some comment section of a drama you don't right and try to attack other people, it's really rude.
Guys, I hope no one attacks me with this comment, but I really do hope that everyone's comments and opinions can be respected. So what if someone doesn't like Love and Redemption? Has their personal opinion ruined your life? They're just expressing their own thoughts, and sometimes, they do make good points. Not everyone is going to like L&R or any other of your favorite dramas, and you won't be able to do anything about it. These comments start out as just comparing one drama to another or pointing a trivial detail out, but then they just become quite toxic and a little bit rude. And honestly, we don't want this comment section to be a warzone like some others, right? Let's set our differences aside and respect each other's opinion.
On the bright side, look at how successful L&R is! Only a very very very small portion of watchers did not enjoy this treasure, and it is one of the highest ranked dramas on MDL.
GoW suffered in her own way. She was manipulated by Bai Lin to kill her own friends and family, and had to undergo many tribulations that could be said are as cruel as Sifeng's. (although, on a sacrificial level, no one can beat YSF.
Sorry, I don't want to crush anyone's hopes. It's just, as a huge fan of Love and Redemption and having read the entire novel, I don't see the point in another season. Xuanji and Sifeng have their happy ending, what more could fans ask for? So is the screenwriter or director going to tell us, "Oh, hi guys, we're back again because we decided to get rid of that happy ending because that's not the true happy ending". Xianxia is Xianxia. They're not going to give us more after 59 episodes of romance and heartbreak. And besides, the drama ended where the novel did, so even if there was a S2, Xuanji and Sifeng would not be the main leads, because, as you may know from numerous previous second seasons that most of them just don't work out.
