Viki is good as long as you want to watch the older, free series it has. If you mainly watch BL it's not a good option either, since they don't carry many BL series. When I wanted to buy a subscription before I would check first which platform would air the upcoming series I wanted to watch and then buy a subscription to the app that suited me best lol

you can give it a try and see if it helps you. if you search "vpn" on the play store/app store you can usually trust the top results. see if you can find apps that have reviews too, you can trust those as well. most of the apps have incorporated guides inside that help you figure out how to use the app as well!
