this drama had a lot of scenes that were visually pleasing! i especially loved the scene where kyoi and hira were riding the bike together. the background music and the actors' facial expressions throughout the drama were pulled off really nicely.
all of the cast did really well but the actor who played kiyoi really impressed me in episodes 5 and 6. i was able to feel what he was feeling just by looking at his eyes — the pain and everything. the way he always said "huh" was really cute to me 😭 overall, this show was a great watch! :D
it was my favourite as well! i hated almost every character at some point so yes, this show showed the evil in every person under certain situations. i feel like that's what makes this show stand out in a way.
okayy i just finished watching this and i have to say, i was amazed by how much i felt drawn in by just the first episode. the plot progressed at a steady pace, however, this felt extremely experimental to me. usually, apocalyptic dramas focus on the survival aspect, whereas, this drama heavily focuses on the trouble between the survivors which is really interesting. i just feel like they could have done much more with the plot because the ending left me hanging and felt lacking and rushed. there was just the right amount of romance so the show could focus on the development of the characters more. this show really proves that people can be influenced to do absurd and awful things in catastrophic environments. both the lead actors and the supporting actors did a great job in portraying their characters so overall, i would say this was an entertaining watch!
i just finished ep 10 and i have to agree with you on this one 😭 nearly everything she does gives me anxiety but then again, i feel that with almost all the other characters too
i just finished watching ep 2 and i'm enjoying it more than i thought i would. the female lead's impulsiveness is kinda getting to me and i feel like it would be the cause of something troublesome later on in the show. but overall, i'm excited to continue this show
dohyun is such a talented actor and the way he's always paired with veteran actors and not the popular actors show how amazing he is at what he does. he has his own charm that makes him stand out among the other actors of his generation. his roles are always diverse, making him a versatile actor and it's hard to not enjoy seeing him on the screen! i would be lying if i said he isn't one of my favourite actors right now and I'm excited to see his future works :]
i loved kim dami and choi wooshik in the witch part 1 the subversion and kim sungchul is a really underrated actor as well. i'm really excited for this, even if there's going to be a love triangle :D
i just finished watching it and i have to say, it didn't meet my expectations. the plot development was extremely messy to me but overall, the drama isn't all too bad. with the cliffhanger s1 ended in, i'm sure there's gonna be another season.
the baby's demonstration scene had me crying omg. i hope the parents will reunite with their baby, now that there's a chance they'll come back alive. i'm curious to know the reason as to why the woman came back alive, 3 years later, at that specific time. also, i can't believe no one even questioned how the arrowhead beat up people and never received a decree because to me, that's enough proof that the whole "sinner = decree" ideology wasn't the concrete reason for the monsters to appear. then again, people are easily indoctrinated, especially in cult-like settings.
İ watched chugakusei nikki, maho no gakunen. İ understand the strong relation between series. Sky castle???…
people connect this drama with sky castle because of its huge focus on the corruption of the education system and the pressure parents put on their children which were also in sky castle :)
the corruption focus is getting kinda boring for me because of penthouse and sky castle but i would say the rest of the drama so far isn't too bad? i hope it gets more interesting soon because right now, I'm purely watching for dohyun lol
