I reckon it mainly focuses on the relationship between Ploysaeng and Darinkan. So yeah, unfortunately the two mains are taking the backseat.
Yes, Darinkan’s character isn’t anything special from other antagonists but when her relationship with Ploysaeng develops, it will take away from the rest of the drama for sure.
