My FAVORITE scene so far is the chess scene in episode 11. I’ve rewatched it so many times, I rewatched it right…
Great analysis of the chess match. I wasn't thinking deeply at all about it, was just enjoying ShiQi being happy to be next to her.

Ep 5 & 6 had some great comedic acting by Yang Zi! Glad Xiao Liu forgave Shi Qi, I felt so sad when she was ignoring him. Hope he sticks to his promise to always be there! Xiang Liu is such a badass but not sure how I feel about him constantly sucking her blood. It’s funny he keeps leaving that “hickey” on her neck though. I’m also enjoying the interactions with Xuan so far, need to see where that goes. Favorite scene in these two episodes was definitely her drawing on Xiang Liu’s face!! Also Xiao Liu taking care of her two orphan boys and ensuring they’re happily married is so heartwarming and makes me love this character even more!

Love this drama so much! Ep 1-4 were so good. The kids made me cry. Yang Zi has great chemistry so far with DW and TJC. The scene that resonated with me the most, is when Xiao Liu called for Shi Qi and he wasn't there, the look of utter disappointment on her face was great. With that one look, you can tell she's been hurt too many times. I also love how complex the MLs and their backstories are. Tempted to watch Ep 5-6 on my phone, but this deserves to be savored and watched on the big screen instead.

I decided to watch this drama because I loved Zhao Li Ying in Story of Ming Lan and wanted to see some of her earlier works, and I only lasted to episode 12 before dropping it like a hot potato. The FL is so childish/immature and I see absolutely no chemistry between her and the ML.

I finished another rewatch and I’m now back onto watching all the scenes of our main couple together starting…
😭😭 Thanks for sharing!

Title Immortal Samsara: Part 2 Spoiler
I finished another rewatch and I’m now back onto watching all the scenes of our main couple together starting with episode 1. During my rewatch I realized even though I know what is going to happen and how it all ends happily, I am still bawling my eyes out at every heartbreaking scene. It’s a testament to their amazing acting! So my question is, if anyone cares to comment, what scene has made you cry the hardest and left you heartbroken for them for days on end? Mine is probably when Yan Dan gave the other half of her heart to YY to save him and essentially “erasing” Tang Zhou! That whole sequence had me investing in Kleenex company.

I think I've rewatched this for 79 times (lol reference to forever and ever). Everytime i watched chinese palace…
Same, it was my first ever Chinese drama and every year I re-watch it last once. Nothing really compares!

Finished watching this drama plus the special eps and I loved it. So happy that YD & YY are living happily with their baby Goudan, surrounded by YM & close friends. They deserve it for saving the three realms! Also love that YD is a career woman, realizing her dream of being the best scriptwriter. YY really is the househusband. This is my favorite drama this year and will be added to by greatest of all time list for sure.

Thanks to #YangZi and #ChengYi for creating such memorial characters. They had amazing chemistry, acting on such a high level with neither taking away from the other, only amplifying it, making every scene the two of them were in mesmerizing to watch! I was already a big fan of Yang Zi after OOL, but will now add Cheng Yi to my favorites. Will be waiting anxiously for The Lotus Casebook and Lost You Forever. Here's hoping the drama gods can pair them up again!!

There were many iconic scenes throughout the drama, but my most favorite is the pond kiss scene, not just for the kiss (which was amazing) but for how heartfelt it was, finally misunderstandings are explained and any lingering resentments are left behind. Loved the way they held each other close forehead to forehead.

Thanks also to the rest of the cast and crew, writer & director! And also the many commenters here who provided great analysis, theories, and funny comments. I've been a silent lurker but this drama made me come out and write a whole paragraph. That's how much I love this show. I'm off now to do a rewatch!
