Yang Shan is kind of old looking like 30'sh so it defeated the cute young granny like character. Boring. boring. boring and not funny. Nothing compares to the original movie.
I remembered my volunteer work in a remote tribe as well... but there weren't any adorable Mr. Song there. Hehehe. =) This is a feel good movie and I liked it.
This drama is truly deserving of its very high ratings. I laughed and cried with them and I learned a lot about the meaning of the word family. This is worthy of my 53 hours of investment.

That's the thing - she's a patient and now she made another problem with unhealthy dependency and attachment to the doc. Just like the doc's mom she has that attachment to the dad she can't live without. What will happen to her if their relationship will not work? She will succumbed to a deeper depression and detachment from the world again. This isn't how to treat real patients in the real world. =) Gawd it is Last Cinderella again for me. I have to stop being a realist or else I end up dropping again. hehehe.
Bottomline she got what she wanted in life because she was now beautiful. The morals were just a justification of plastic surgery. Anyway just like what others said it started good but then it turned boring. 16 episodes would have been more than enough.
