I believe it is reality. We can get a glimpse of a culture through their dramas and movies.

they dont want their children to be happy on love alone i guess. their culture is ironic for me. they talk passionately about love but their equation of happiness is different- parents believe a good life for their children means that they are happy -love is just a secondary factor.
i just hate if i was born in s.korea even though i luv their dramas.

i just met somebody who watched 400+ dramas in 3 years! well thats mind blowing! ive been watching since 2000 so my number is pretty low. i hope you can do better than me fellow drama lover :)

fed up with it as well. but i guess it is a culture thing- im an elder i am law, or you are my child i own you, or i fed you and clothed you you do what i tell you no matter what- grrrrr... :/ i feel sorry for their children. people who follow love are considered disobedient.

well i started in year 2000 and i just finished 180+ dramas. i couldnt imagine how you completed that much in about 3 years. amazing indeed. anyway i believe you are a true dramaholic or an otaku of dramas! :)

i really dont understand s.korea culture -they want to look good in front of other people -that is hypocrisy. at any cost they choose to preserve their name. it seem there is a qualification just to love another person. wealth, power, status... bull!

i just finished downloading ep14 of PMandI so im waiting for the subs. I like it bec. BumSoo is there and not bad of a story too. what im truly enjoying now are Let's Eat and Can We Love dramas. :)
emergency couple is interesting too! im a jihyo and jinhyuk fan.

what im looking forward to see is how ChangMin fall for JinHee again. :) the horror of his mother if so!
