His age is appropriate for someone acting as a presidential spokesperson. 🙂
She looks perfect for her role, and that's why I wouldn't want to change her. The story still aligns with my preferences, which is why I'm watching it. I choose the dramas I want to watch on my own, without needing anyone's opinion. It also seems to me that you'd prefer a male actor over a female actor, given that you're pushing the narrative that Soobin should be replaced

But we are watching fiction, and it’s about an unrequited love of 20 years for his wife. I did want to see something superficial. Also, the age gap is supposed to be six years, but sometimes Huiju looks 20 while he looks 40+. Let me be clear, I have nothing against him.

The story is perfect. Soobin looks too pretty and young while the male lead, though mostly good-looking, sometimes appears too old, especially in scenes like the first fake phone call or with some scenes Huiju. I don't mind older actors(He's not even that old and he doesn’t look old in interviews) but huge age gaps in romance turn me off. Since some asked, I think Byeon Woo-seok would fit better as he’s not too young and is a good actor. I wouldn’t mention this in another genre but for an arranged marriage trope I’d prefer visuals I like. Then again beauty is subjective.
The character is supposed to be 35. There is no need for an actor under 35 at all
I'm not saying age is the problem. I didn't want to mention it in my comment, but even if it were played by a 50 year old who looks 30, it wouldn't be an issue. I was referring to how old your face looks ESPECIALLY in front of your love interest.
Ugh no, let older actors live, jeez. I think the cold, gruffness needs an older guy to really pull it off. A younger…
I didn’t mean 25, but okay. There are great dramas with "older" actors, like Moving and Touch your heart. They looked perfect for their characters and also appeared to be the same age as their love interests.I just think this script calls for a younger-looking actor to match the character better

He was supposed to be six years older than Huiju, but the character ends up looking more than 10 years older than her, which exceeds their actual age gap.Because they made Huiju look younger than Soobin's actual age
The drama is really enjoyable, but I feel it could have been better if the male lead had been played by a younger actor, maybe someone under 35. There are moments when he looks great, but in certain angles, he can appear older and not quite right for the character. A younger actor might have brought a more fitting vibe to the role They made the female lead look younger with her eyebrows, but it ends up making the male lead look older than he is, or than his character should be.
