I feel like there are a lot of dramas that would be much better if they were a bit more balanced. Like this one, you have just too much of toxic and disgusting humans. You can't really enjoy it and there is no satisfactoring behaviour. They just have to bow for some reason, as if they are slaves.
He never needs her protection and he is not weak. The only no spoiler answer to your question is go watch beyond…
Ok, I will give it a chance. I don't know what will happen, but in no world is he not weak and pathetic. At least the way it plays out in the first 3 episodes.
I just finished episode 2 and I am trying to understsand why people like this. For me it's hard to watch. I see a man who wants his wife to protect him from her family. He is such an exterme weakling that it's unbareable to watch. I see a man who doesn't support or try to help his wife with one of the most F up families in history. I don't get it
yeah, Jerome pissed me off a bit. He is so scared to show any interest, because of a possible rejection. If he…
Yes but Tom had not decided and also wanted to talk to Ha-ne I think was her name. If he concentrates fully on Benita I think he has more than a 50% chance
yeah, Jerome pissed me off a bit. He is so scared to show any interest, because of a possible rejection. If he…
I think for a woman she showed more than enough interest. Especially considering Jerome ignores her and keeps singing. Everybody trys to date and find a match while he is singing with a woman he has no interest in and ignores the woman he allegedly likes. That's just ...
Jerome and Benita, do you wanna kill me? hahaha. Come on guys!
yeah, Jerome pissed me off a bit. He is so scared to show any interest, because of a possible rejection. If he had any competion in their, he would never get Benita. He is lucky that nobody else showed any real interest in her. Even thought she is the most beautiful and interesting one. He is really lucky
Benita please accept Jerome….i think she is older than Jerome but Jerome ex wife also older than him right?…
I disagree, She is way younger than him. And he should show a little bit of interest. I mean she even goes to him and he doesn't even look at her and keeps singing. Seriously.... If he had any realy competitor, he would never get Benita
Yes, alcohol misuse is linked to loads of health problems, with domestic violence, crime - including sexual violence…
I agree. This is something I really don't understand. For example you see in many dramas that when they turn 20, the first thing they do is drink alcohol. And they act as if it is the most delicious and most refreshing fluid one could bossibly drink. In what world does alcohol actually taste good? I would really like to know why that is.
alcohol is far worse than marijuana. Millions of peoples lifes is destroyed because of alcohol, because of aggression and health issues related to alcohol. Nothing of these is the case with marijuana. South Korea is probably within the top in the world regarding alcohol :D It's funny and sad that alcohol is considered something great and they probably don't even use the term alcoholic, while marijuana is seen so rediculously negative.
The trailer is like a romcom but there is no comedy in genre or tag, but melodrama. I really can't see another melodrama... Why are they bringing out so many melodramas?! I droopped or fast forwarded every one that came out from last year until now.... I miss dramas like Strong Woman Do Bong Soon or Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo, for example. I really love Park Min Young but I have a bad feeling about this drama.... I am very sure it will not be like the trailer. Well, I still hope I am wrong though
Rest in peace and I hope you are in a better place right now and happy...
I read a lot of comments about the Korean mentality and that it would never change. Also the terms of what's "right" and what's "wrong" in comparison with western and eastorn. About that I have to say something. I also lived and worked for a few years in Korea and know that mentality very well. The highly hirarchical system for sure is the main problems in combination with the lack of consequences for people that are considered of higher status. You can justify it beautifully however you want as culture or historical but in the end it's just about power and dominance. And if viewed as a country, the most important point is that as many people as possible are healthy and happy. And that is not the case with the current situation and that's why its wrong. Regarding the point that it will never change, no country started at the point they are right now. They all learned from their mistakes, and developed that way to create a better environment for the people. As somebody who worked threre, I can tell you that for example a Finnish company with 35 working hours a week does the same work and better quality than a korean company with 60 working hours a week. I know that because I lived it. And what did the Korean company do? He held an one hour speech with threats and rediculous statements and comparisons and fired a few people. That this mentality is the actual reason, of course he did not understand. That happy and motivated people are more productive and healthier than scared and depressed people should become clear for them at some point I think. At least when they have more to do with western companyies in the future, some korean companies should understand that their love for high hirarchies and thirst for power does them nothing good. Of course that would be the beginning.
Anyway... I just feel very said and am afraid of the future when I see that the governments only respones for so many suicides, is to shut the media up. They should look for the root of the problem and adjust the laws so that the current environment changes and the people don't feel like they have no other choise or way out...
Honestly... I don't know what to say. I am actually disapointed in the story. Who in the world would let such toxic people stay in their family? And I know they wanted DD to look good and like a real nice person but to make her stand up for WDR to let her stay in that house?! Seriously? I am sure nobody would miss her and in fact the whole family would be happier if WDR would not be there. So the whole reasoning to keep her there because she is the grandmother is just border line stupid. At this point it feels forced and unrealistic for me and hard to watch. I would rather like to see the site stories instead of DD crying constantly....
It is because she looks younger than her age. The actress real age is 29 when she looks 22 in the drama. In the…
Yeah 28 and 40 is nothing. She look young and for me it was her behaviour that makes them a bit awkward. I did not feel so at the beginning. Actually with ther behaviour she feels now more like 16 or 17...
Unbarable
