the way I understood it through the little actions and words of smol PZ, is that his life before her was boring. Idk if you recall the chess class his mom signed him up for, but he often ditched. Bit when she came along, he didn't go anymore. She understood him more than others did, beyond his good boi personality. She also brought him deeper into math. She was a like a light in his life, a brave light that warmed his mundane life listening to his parents and doing what adults expected him to do. I think he slowly fell for her. 🥺

Don't panic, so you remember when he said he woke up with that Newton's thing at the head of his bed? Or the beginning of the series with him putting the photo? the Newton's (was it Newton?) thing is the key to him using Strawberry PZ's body. I have another theory that PZ's "sickness" which he never described in detail is actually his confusion etc due to Cheese PZ.
