This series had brilliant acting, wonderful script writing. I loved how all characters grew and matured, and how they had the cute coupling, the end of this season is great.

They should stop casting Hallyu actors/actresses, they get dubbed, and they come off differently due to cultural differences etc.

You could start learning mandarin, and watching more subbed series while paying attention to subs to speed up the learning. Unfortunately there are so many darn raw Chinese series out there I had to take matters into my own smol paws....I watched some subbed series, and bam my Chinese can get me >=90% understanding. Technical terms i pause and goodle translate. Start planning how to tackle the wuxia world etc now! Before too many good series have come out for u to catch up in this life time friends! Well no /i think,what I understood after all of it, was that her mom and the empress and emperor played a scheme to confuse the opposing "outsiders" trying to invade the kingdom, and thus the whole misunderstanding, but she is her chef dad's kid, just that the king adopted her. whether or not her mom and the emperor ever really loved each other, I'ms till vague on that. I think it was all part of the scheme. So no, she wasn't born one, but then technically she was because her mom was made his concubine for the scheme, but she wasn't actually his daughter, so the court wouldn't want her to be princess, but he left it ambiguous to confuse people. Yeah. Big scheme u got there mister old guy. lol. But eventually she did end up a princess, so yeah she is one.
