All in a all a very good series, but the finale would've benefitted from being two episodes instead. I wish we had more time in Tyme's 4 minutes, especially after reading Sammon's tweets - the point of Great's 4 minutes was loud and clear, but the point of Tyme's got kind of lost imho. At some points, the finale felt like ticking storylines off a list - this happened with that one, then this happened, then this happened. I wish it was given a bit more room to breathe.
Can someone explain the political intrigue part of things to me? Whose son is Huai'En and what's his beef with the Jin family? In the smalles words possible, please... ehhhh
There's funny goofy and there's stupid goofy, and this was the stupidest thing I've seen since, well, Naughty Babe... please stop trying to be funny, Domundi...
It's the kind of thing you watch when there's nothing better on or you're not in the mood for any kind of elaborate plot. To me it's exactly the same quality as Star in my Mind - nothing offensively bad, just doesn't talk about any interesting/important problems and all drama is surface level. Enjoyable when you manage your expectations ;)
It was a fun first ep, no complaints, although I'm managing my expectations and treating this as a goofy comedy... and bracing myself for the most idiotic explanation as to why things between them reverted to basically what they'd been at the beginning of CP after the wedding.
Film was amazing, his character was maybe the best bl character of the year, every single smile was worthy of all the awards... all this series lacked was just a little bit more passion between the main couple. I don't mean banging on every available surface, but I was getting 2gether flashbacks and they got real close to ending it with a high five. I mean, 40 minutes of fluffy happy ending and we get what? An engagement hug and a closed mouth wedding kiss? 9,5/10 anyway, duh, but I wish there had been more physical passion in it and not just heated looks.
So let’s discuss the preview…Joke started the relationship off as a lie? Was it a bet with friends? Guess…
I'm gonna guess it's about the fact he wasn't really trying to help Zo with Nita but aiming to get together with him from the very beginning... everything in this show (ok, other than JoongDunk's chemistry) is justso obvious and underwhelming...
When I remember how good the first few eps were... so much potential was squandered to leave us with whatever the last few eps were. It's like the writers just ran out of ideas halfway through and decided to just write whatever, inluding the same pointless breakup-get back together storyline twice, one after another, neither time giving it any sensible rationalization. Absolutely pointless.
My ranking of the excitement levels in descending order:1. A Tale of Thousand Stars2. My School President 3. Bad…
Mine's so different: 1. the Eclipse 2. 1000 stars 3. MSP 4. NLMG 5. B&B 6. Bad Buddy 7. Star 8. Vice Versa (but that's because I still haven't seen the series)
