Check out the ost on Spotify! You should be able to paste the Thai title into the search engine to fish out the album, including the instrumental tracks (:
Dying at all the modern references XD! This show is so trashy but in a good way. Haven't laughed this much till my face hurt since Chief Kim. Gaahh Jiro Wang, my idol during my adolescence, the Fahrenheit days and the peak of Taiwanese idol dramas. How I've missed you <3 Highly recommend if you're looking for something hilarious and lighthearted, nothing deep or serious (:
Edit 21/08/18: Okay I'm hella pissed. This show was gold, only up till after Su Ruan was kicked out of the palace. Where's the interaction between the Emperor and Meng Meng?! It was almost non-existent and the story became entirely the sidekicks', even the imperial doctor =_= Though the drama maintained its comedic tone pretty consistently, it lost the essence of the plot in the later half, which is exceedingly disappointing. We barely even saw the Emperor towards the end zzz. This could be due to some scenes being deleted as there were complains that the comedy of the drama was "inappropriate" for the historical setting, but I wish that they had the integrity to tell the story as it is and not change it because some people with a stick up their butt who can't tolerate novel humour. End of rant. Ps. It's just a rant, please don't take my words to heart xoxo (:
I'm at ep 4 and Sathit's character is so frustrating to watch. I came here just after Bpoop Phaeh Saniwaat, and gahhh why can't Sathit have at least a fraction of Por Date's character to stop with his prejudice on Jee TT
This lakorn was sooooooo much better than what I had expected. I went into it expecting lame plots that didn't make sense, leads rushed into falling in love, and lots of unreasonable crazy characters. However, the chemistry between the leads were exploding! and for a romcom, the mystery/thriller aspect was done quite well that got me very hooked. Ahhhhh I miss Hunsa and Tim already!!! I kinda can't bear to watch the next installment cos I feel that nothing will match up to the Hunsa-Tim pairing in my heart! Someone please recommend me a lakorn similar, or something as good as this!
I feel like a proud mom because the quality of this drama was as good as or even better than Hormones, my first love in Thai dramaland <3 Thai dramas have been really crappy as of late, but SPIKE reminded me of why I loved Thai dramas. I really appreciated the cinematography in this one, together with the actors' efforts in volleyball on screen. You can tell that producers took a damn lot of pride in making this drama through its little details. Even the product placements did not feel cringey and forced- which is rare.
A round of applause to the producers of SPIKE for this magnificent piece of art!!! Thank you for your hard work and hope to see some beautiful dramas again!
I have been holding back my comments of my annoyance for Eunjae and Jongyeol sunbae's story this season till I've finished the series. Gosh! Eunjae was so pathetic till it was hard to watch her without screaming "hajima!!!" at the screen. And I liked that in season 1 Jongyeol sunbae treated Eunjae like she was his universe. Why did that change too? ): I just can't wrap my head around how Eunjae (sorta) had the upper hand in the relationship in season 1 but in season 2 her world revolves around pleasing and looking good in front of Jongyeol. This season didn't even give Yoon sunbae much of a story to tell, she seems like a mere placeholder for Heimdall's story. Both Eunjae and Yoon sunbae's story had so much depth in season 1, this season feels like a letdown to their characters. But to be honest, their characters were probably just portraying a slice of reality- esp the break up.
P.s. I really enjoyed watching all the couples this season! (:
Please lmk if there are any English subs too cos I'm actually not very good with Chinese! Thank you!
Highly recommend if you're looking for something hilarious and lighthearted, nothing deep or serious (:
