i am alive. lol. i've been busy with school. and winter is not my favorite season for weather or dramas. i only watched 3 last season and only 3 this season too. not much to discuss as a result. i came on to update my list and i ended up spending an hr in the forums. MDL can do that to me. lol

nice job representing riida.

the only one i completed was bakaleya and i enjoyed it. even with low ratings they made a movie for it. maybe the low ratings were due to the time slot? idk... i dropped the wedding planner drama after part 1 of epi 1. family song i saw part of an epi raw on tv and it just didn't look appealing. with the exception of teen court i never even heard of the others. and i want to see teen court. ratings don't factor into my watching or liking a drama.

happy new yr. i guess i havent been around much since school opened in september huh? everything is cool. i started feeling homesick during the holiday season since its too expensive for me to home but it has more or less passed. and school is opening soon so i'll be busy again. apart from that i'm great. the winter drama season was a bit disappointing so i guess that's another reason i wasnt around much. how is everything with u?

i love smile. one of the best dramas ever. hanadan i've seen 4 times now. i loved lucky 7 too. matsujun put on weight and built up muscle. and did his own stunts in the action scenes. and it was very funny. i wanna see the blooper reel for that drama. one of the reasons i love matsujun's dramas is because he gives good kisses not the boring peck kisses with no movement. his kisses look real and passionate and those lips who wouldn't want to kiss him? arashi is my ichi ban suki in japanese music. i have every album. and matsujun is definitely in my top 10 maybe top 5 japanese hotties. but my heart belongs to oguri shun.

my 1st drama did several things for me. 1. and most important it introduced me to the world of japanese dramas and completely changed my life and has to take some responsibility for making me interested in japan enough to move to japan. 2. taught me that foreign shows can be funny and/ or entertaining and worth watching despite subs/language barrier. 3. introduced me to japanese music. 4. showed me that asians can be sexy or hot because before then i would not have given an asian guy a 2nd look which leads me to 5. introduced me to mr. hotness oguri shun. so let me say a very big thank you to Tokyo Dogs. i am very happy that it was my 1st drama and i've rewatched it 3 times.

i love that arashi has songs for the member's dramas and they always seem to fit the overall feel of the drama, my faves are the stand up opening theme and truth- opening theme for maou. also miwa-hikarie for rich man poor man, the spec ending song, guilty's theme and of course orange range-ikenai taiyo for hana kimi.

i would remove yamada sota and akira from the list. maybe its time for me to rewatch nobuta wa produce. but i totally agree with the other 3.

i watched it and it was sweet but not really my kind of thing cuz i hate dramas and movies that end like that.

fearless is a big movie. i knew jet li and saw fearless before i knew anything about asian dramas.( i can't wait to see jet li in the expendables.) i'm gonna watch taiyou no uta this weekend.

i'd say my reviews would be one or a combination of the following categories u listed. 2, 3 and 7. i tend to be long winded (i know) lol. but then again being a #2 in my case isn't bad cuz i tend not to write reviews after the 1st or 2nd epi but usually at the end or close to it. 13 cracks me up. why even bother write the review then? lol

lol. i was never able to turn anyone into a drama addict but i did get my bf to watch a few epis of dramas with me either cuz i was watching it when he came over or i suggested he might like it. it didn't stick tho... hearing me say shun oguri is so hot 100 times probably didn't help my cause. lol. but regardless i'm satisfied cuz my bf knows alot more about the japanese entertainment biz and has an appreciation for cute asian girls now (that's only fair). also my sister watched many epis of vs arashi with me voluntarily and can tell the members apart. everyone else thinks that my life got taken over by a japanese robot or smtng. i saw the wheels in their heads for real everytime i mentioned japan.

It's been awesome. Been here for 6 months teaching jr high English and I'm loving it.

when isn't yamapi hot?

i know how irritating it can be waiting for subs for currently airing dramas. but i've gotten into the habit of watch dramas raw. esp since i've been in japan i just watch on tv and wait for subs to come out. even tho i only understand about 5-10% of what is actually said i don't have a hard time following dramas esp if they are interesting and a lot of what happens in the story is portrayed rather than spoken.

btw i just checked out ur list and we have dropped a lot of the same dramas.

i'm also trying to finish up some dramas i put on hold a while back like hotaru no hikari 2, and Kagi no Kakatta Heya

yep i only watch jdramas. i don't know why we haven't talked more. since i moved i haven't been as active on mdl as i used to be but i'm trying to at least comment on my favorite currently airing dramas.
