But the very first episode of her being in the modern world and having a car crash, should have told you that…
I get what you mean, but those kinds of endings arenāt really my favorite. After watching so many dramas end like that, it just feels painful. At least I know they ended up together, but the ending still wasnāt satisfying for me it felt like only five seconds, and that was it. I guess directors want the audience to imagine or come up with their own theories. I would said A Dream within a Dream ending shows there interaction perfect. They reunited in the modern world, talked a little bit, then hugged and smiled at the end. (I need moments like that) But it is what it is. I would said WDBTD still did the best drama than a few drama that I watched.
Okay, I really did enjoy When Destiny Brings the Demon but why did it have to end with just them reuniting in the mortal world and then the end? Like bruh, Chinese dramas need to stop doing that lol. I wanted more moments at the end like hugging, kissing, going shopping, dating, blah blah you know what Iām talking about. They went through so much suffering together only to finally reunite and thatās all we got? Sigh...... left me sad/upset lol Still Iāll give it an 8/10 because it was definitely better than a few other dramas Iāve watched. For example The Legend General Female and Princess Gambit were disappointing and started to feel boring and slow. This one did a good job overall.
I give this a fair rate 7/10 because I kind of getting bored 8-10 eps (I did enjoyed the cooking, but it was just way too long to get to the conflict and hype) But ep 11-12 save it for me I get to see the ML madness, what happen to his mom, behind his behavior toward his grandmother and officials. I just wished it longer and the missing explanation how he was able to travel to the modern and how did he found her.
Oh Jesus, this one hit me harder! I wasn't expecting like that even though I know it was tragic I didn't mind watching it. However, Fang of Fortune characters stabbed me front and back like bro this is rougher than my experience watching Goodbye My Princess. The story flows beautifully, packed with twists and turns. While Iām not usually a big fan, the Fang of Fortune storyline completely won me over. The main cast, supporting characters, villains, and even the smaller roles were all fantastic. They made such a lasting impression on me. Each character felt memorable and touching, and letās be honest, they looked incredibly hot and beautiful every time they appeared on screen! This drama has officially earned a spot in my top 10 C-dramas.
I love the end, and I hope they make season 2 as good or twice as this season. Her character portrays a powerful person with the willpower to face challenges, weakness, and fear to overcome her strength. Yet, all-powerful characters have their weakness, and I know many people expect some OP girl. Still, OP's invisible characters are impossible to imagine to put in her character. For example, DC, Marvel, and anime characters had weaknesses like Superman's liability is Kryptonite. Also, my experience watching many Chinese/anime/manga/donghua/Korean fantasy, thrillers, and historicals the mc falls into that category. Let us not forget Naksu/Buyeon; both shift souls the spell bell power binds to those soul shifters (those spells are forbidden to use because they can threaten people with the alchemy of soul), In my opinion!
Sigh.... is been so long since I return from this drama 2017 -2022 lol It took me 3 years and a few months to get over this drama. Is still my top 1 along with LAR .
Came back to this to read the comments and was surprised that most of them were negative... I personally gave…
When some dramas are good and get a high review, there will be those who dislike the high rate drama and point out some flaws, then persuade everyone to seek the same way. Plus, everyone has their taste, but why put a low rating because it is not your taste lol I have some drama that isn't my taste, and I don't low rate other drama just because of that. I only low-rate drama when there is a considerable flaw and reasonable about it. Some people like it more seriously and realistic than having that Disney moment.
Okay so I watched two episodes only but...what kind of awful female lead is that?! I hate the way she speaks and…
The messy plot doesn't seem like it. I was able to follow up on everything through the investigation. I know that this main lead girl is strong and supports every action of Vincenzo, unlike that main Chinese girl who is naggy, weak, and naive. BL are plot are a drag. In my opinion, thank you.
I watch many movies, Asian and American drama series, and anime. 10/10 is my rate for this drama don't care what others say and low rating. It drags a lot pfft lol, please. It is not even dragging if you want to know what is dragging. An example is Ruyi in love with the Palace, all of the title names Novoland, Vampire Diaries (worst), and Marriage Lyrics For Divorce Music. Please, if you are not satisfied with dark and logic, there is always What is Wrong with Secretary Kim <<<< Recommend.
I'm not a huge fan of how they fall in love, and I find it weird, awkward, and unreality (understand it is a drama), Including FL and ML story and character, not a massive fan of it. I somewhat enjoy the relationship on the way. I'll rate it 4/10 because I wish they could have improved a bit better. Please respect my opinion!
Yall can say it repetitive plot; however, I enjoy this repeating plot, and sometimes I find it refreshing to see it again. I found some C-drama trying something new so hard it just went down. Also, I have watched tons of Asian dramas Thai, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Vietnam, Philipino, Indian, and Indonesia have done the same concept. I'm not too fond of it because neither are they the same scripted; actors playing the role don't nail it and bad scripted. However, Once We Get Married nailed the old concept, and I enjoy it once again. I love the chemistry between the ML and FL. Also, misunderstanding is solved in a short amount of time. Other than the drama I watched takes 5 to 10 episodes of small misunderstand to be solved ( something I dislike, but I understand is fiction), ML is always in his character 100%, and FL starts off her ups and downs, but her courage rise with her ML and herself. Although, it is hilarious that I laugh so much. It was a fast roller coaster of this drama, and I love it. I give it an 8.5/10 because I dislike three things: the annoying girl wished they could have ended her the second time she tried to hurt FL. Second, I want the script to have improved a bit more because I believe it could have done more. Lastly, the ending was a bit too short. I wish it could have extended longer. I would put this as one of my top favorite dramas above Ancient Love Poetry. My opinion please respected!
I think you are missing the point of the story. He made the sacrifice because he didn't want to see her making…
You made some good point. I wish they could had extended the ending longer. Wow I did not know that was part of the novel she deserve it. However, thanks for expressing and accepting my opinion. Ancient Love Poetry is part of my top favorite list Chinese drama.
I think for me it's hard to judge Bai Jue harshly just because he didn't consult Shanggu for his decision. First…
I agree because it was hard for me to judge Bai Jue harshly. But thanks for giving your opinion, for me giving an 8.5 it mean that I love it. I will included as part of my top list favorite Chinese drama.
