That wouldn't make sense...his facial physiology is nothing like Shan Gudan, and Gudan's corpse has been preseved by Shi Hun for years before the gang found it after the Lotus Pond Mystery, and then buried him. If the show takes that route they have a lot of explaining to do, and plot holes to account for. But hey, it would be an interesting twist

Try Mysterious Lotus Casebook! It's amazing, though its historical wuxia with alot of intertwining cases, if that's not your genre it might be hard. The bromance and fight choreography is off the charts though. And the cases are not easily solved but also not unnecessarily difficult to grasp. It's still airing, I recommend it
