Question: Do I need to watch the prequel BEFORE watching this one? The plot in the first doesn't interest me as…
I don't remember that well, but you could try. It happens a few years later after Gao Shi De left to the US with no explanation and they haven't talked since.
I loved how it started, but then it got worse. I understand it was a realistic timeline, but I had to force myself to watch the last 3 episodes... It was so slow and painful.
I was happy when the first second male lead quickly turned out to be a jerk - great, we avoided the nice second guy trope. Just for them to introduce the perfect lovely noodle grandson, every scene with him broke my heart into pieces.
I also thought there would be some Jae eon backstory, I guess they left it to our imagination. Why butterflies out of all things? Did that girl really use to be his girlfriend?
I liked the symbolism, all things related to butterflies, and the way Na bi's sculpture changed according to how her life was at a given moment.
All the other couples' stories were great and gave a nice fun break from the difficult relationship between the main leads.
What would be "necessary" drama or angst? Can you give me an example please? Thanks.
I guess some people need it or else they're bored. Personally, I'm stressed out rn and I can't deal with any guns, kidnappings, deaths... So this drama was perfect for me 😇
This is art. This drama is so beautiful I could write whole pages on it and at the same time I can't put into words how I feel now. Both leads are frustrating, but it's impossible not to love them. The depth of their characters and the slow development are so real. It was short and slow paced, but it showed a whole range of feelings, emotions, problems, challenges, all with gorgeous camera work. I need more!!!
So I replayed to someone and idk if you guys would see mu comment and I wanted to know if others pll had notice…
Interesting comment! I see 2 things: 1. Uea treats sex as an escape from trauma (like when he came back from his mother's home and went straight to King's place, or when he said that his life is already ruined) 2. He's less and less reluctant with every episode, we can see him opening up to King and slowly trusting him, but there's still always some doubt and distance. I really hope to see Uea fully confident and taking initiative in the last episodes!
Wow. It's rare when a sequel is good at all, and this one was probably even better than season 1. I loved it. I can't stand miscommunication tropes, but they managed to do it right?? This drama gives you a whole rollercoaster of emotions, I can't believe it's over already because I can't have enough of these actors ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
The best scene for me was them making fun of each other on the bridge, it was so wholesome and natural!
And Yu Zhen was such an adorable ray of sunshine every time he appeared 🥺 even during the saddest scenes.
i hated episode 6. this is ridiculous i HATE this type of plot I was still putting up with his childhood plot…
Uea FINALLY started to let his guard down and finally looked really in love with King and it was ruined so fast... they could have given us the beach trip at least before ruining everything
the ending almost ruined it for me, but I have high hopes for season 2 which I'm going to watch in a minute
funny how there was nothing in this drama hinting that Shu Yi might be rich (except maybe the last ep), he just randomly drove a maserati for no reason lol
what i wish for them to show in this serie is how uea healthily overcome his trauma, i had never seen a bl serie…
In My Tooth Your Love one ML advises the other to see a therapist but they never continue this conversation... This is still the most I've seen in any BL lol
Beautiful drama, I'm glad to see some older (than high school and college) characters in a Thai BL. I was really invested in all 3 couples. The ending was so warm and fluffy, I wish it had some more episodes though.
I already fell in love with Khao in The Eclipse, but his performance here was phenomenal. He's so good at playing heartbroken characters, I just hope he won't keep only getting such sad roles from now on because of that!
Wow, this drama really deserves all the great reviews, I loved everything about it! The chemistry is through the roof, there's suspense and humour, the plot is perfect, the second couple is the cutest. This drama was my entry drug to Taiwanese BLs but still remains the top 1, a true masterpiece 🥰
People say it's unrealistic to have that much trauma, but: 1. His mom is an awful person, it's nothing strange that she found an even worse partner 2. People with childhood traumas tends to enter toxic relationships and that's how he ended up with his ex

Even though my dentists aren't young hot and completely in love with me
