I’m so excited to start this drama. Currently waiting for all the episodes to be released before I start it because I just know I’m going to binge this. I did check out the opening and ending credits though and it’s nice to know what the pairing is going to be from the get go. Li jian jian and Ling Xiao look so cute together. I hope steven’s character isn’t revealed to like her too because that would just be super sad. What I can see happening though is him not liking her in that way but more like feeling left out from their family when he finds out they’re together. That would be more realistic in my opinion. Still heartbreaking for him to feel left out but would lead to some nice episodes with them reassuring him on his importance In their family and ultimately growing the bond in their little family.

So far I’m loving this show. I feel like it has the potential to be one of those shows I keep coming back to. As I watch it, I’m getting strong put your head on my shoulder vibes. Not so much the story but the feeling it gives me. It’s cute, the chemistry between the actors is really nice and it’s managed to make me invested in their story.

Overall I enjoyed this drama, it was a beautiful story. My favorite part was seeing hae won and eun seops relationship develop. Although I did feel like they kind of stopped putting the focus on our main characters during the later part of the drama. There were a few questions that were left unanswered. Like what was it that Hae Won always wanted to tell Eun Seop but didn’t. If it was that she wanted him to ask her to stay I would of liked to see that more clearly in the end. I felt like in order to fully unite as a couple Eun Seop needed to voice his needs a bit more. I would have liked to see him do that. Also this is minor but legit no one other than like 3 people found out of their relationship in this drama. It would have also been nice to see hae won receive some love from Eun Seop’s family.

I thought it made sense that she did though, if it was left up to Eun Seob who knows when there would be any progress. He loves her and they’ve been getting comfortable around each other but he’s always struggled with trying to get closer to her. Hae Won on the other hand has shown that even though she’s introverted, she’s willing to stand up for herself and what she believes in.

Eun Seob is just so adorable. Loving the fact this drama is very detailed. As we continue to learn more about our leads I feel like there are things I missed, I feel like this will be one of those dramas I’ll want to rewatch once I finish so that I can look at it with all the facts and be able to fully understand from each characters point of view their reactions and way of thinking. Also how cute was it that Eun Seob got couple mugs once hae won moved in. I would have loved to see a cute/awkward scene of him buying those. Honestly as I was watching episodes 3 and especially 4 they seemed like an old married couple lol

No it’s not. The actress is older but the characters they play are both 28.so they were in the same grade in school

Team Phoenix, although I'm only at 3/4 of this drama. It's a tough choice though because this show does give you major second lead syndrome. Night Immortal breaks my heart, he really does deserve to be happy. It's hard for me to blame him too much for trying to come between Jinmi and Fire Immortal. I mean he was her fiancé, who he'd been waiting for. The moment he decided not to concede Jinmi to Fire Immortal but fight for her I couldn't help but cheer him on. Ultimately though Fire Immortal is just perfect for Jinmi. His love is so beautiful and though he was spoiled pretty much all his life (poor night immortal) his sincerity when he was courting Jinmi really shines.

Yeah, it just sucks that they left the viewers out of that important scene. The moment he decides to pursue her again feels like something important to include in there.

Okay i’m very confused. I just finished watching episode 25 where at the end tong Nian mentions she has to go to the hospital, then in episode 26 she’s there and all of a sudden Han Shang Yan appears. I feel like there’s a scene i’m missing because last I saw him, he was holding strong on the no contact rule of his. What happened ?

Yeah I'm wondering the same. JTV is an amazing show but it is very much centered around Hispanic/Latin culture. I mean the story itself tends to parody many of the cliches in latin telenovelas. The hispanic references and scenarios is where a lot of the humor comes from. It's very hard for me to imagine taking all that out of it and it still being good. I'll try to watch it with an open mind though.
