In novel there was no history of crown prince with the female General they just mentioned his wrong deeds and whether he was punished or not , they didn't mentioned that and in novel luo Mei and MGH were in love but when she saw he was sleeping with beauty and all that and try to assassinate her but later she left him nearly in the end and give up and during battle she sacrifice herself protecting MGH and the country
And for the drama she will fall in love with the crown prince as you can see in the trailers..they are our second couple..and I think she will die here too as shown in lot of trailers..
I'm a novel reader but I think they kinda mess the plot The preview of ep 2, these events occurred later in the novel like it must be after 4-5 episodes, but they are giving us at ep 2 And ai-oon never suspected May in the first place at all, she later started suspecting her after several events, One more thing after fight with her grandmother she gone straight to her male friends not to May , here they changed it but yeah she went to may frequently but they kinda rushed it ... And they changed the mother character with grandmother lol Anyways a great series , waiting for ep 2 and sorry for the details
