OMG the Crown Prince is crying in like every episode lmao. Don't expect much romance. Do expect lots of male lead beating the female lead, in a palace punishment way. Honestly this was depressing to watch.
I really wanted to like this but goddam it was hard to watch. Most of it was just the male lead yelling and screaming at the female lead. The female lead end up taking him back every f-ing time. Male lead keeps having misunderstandings and gets jealous, which ends up with him physically assaulting the female lead while literally screaming at her. Good god -.- I give this a 4/10.
Love the main couple's chemistry here way more than Legend of Yunxi. But why does Zhehan always kiss with eyes open lmao! If you like a main couple who only like each other, a loving sister relationship, and a super sweet 2nd lead couple, you will like this.
Loving this drama so far! Female lead is cute and likeable. Reverse harem, all the guys like main female lead. Can't tell who's main male lead, maybe there is 2 male leads LOL! Second couple is cute too!
Just finished this and it's super depressing. Nobody gets to be with the one they love. I ended up liking the "villain" Yuwen Hu the best because he tried so hard to be with the one he loved. Plus he's super hot LOL! After he died, I lost interest in the drama.

The most WHOLESOME drama I've ever seen. Beautiful scenery, TONS of ASMR cooking scenes (don't watch this when you're hungry!), innocent and pure love relationship. The "villains" are no more than a cat without claws. I can't even really say there are villains in this drama, more like obstacles.
Loved the 2nd lead couple more than the main leads! Didn't like the ending. After the first few episdoes, I watched this drama only for scenes between Qing Qing and Qian Xun xD
Not as good as the first season. First season was full of twists and surprises, had a great strong cunning male lead. This season is a bit bland compared to it. It's an okay drama, just not as addicting.
Zhang Zehan has more chemistry with Gong Jun in Word of Honor than with the female lead in this drama.

The ONLY drama I've watched where I didn't want to fast forward any ep. MAGNIFICENT story and twists, fantastic characters and actors actresses. Just enough romance to not be annoying. Added comedy that isn't cringey, just enough to break up heavy feeling scenes. Only regret I have is watching this without knowing season 2 isn't released yet ????
