I went with he was donating blood or marrow (since she has rare blood type and am thinking he has as well since he was chatting with Nana) and threatened Payu he would not do it if he did not stay away which put Namkhing at high risk for death. I could be totally wrong but as I could not figure out anything better and from what I was watching that is what I went with. Would love someone to feel us in for sure. :)
