I think the confinement plays a big factor along with his current situation of being on the run, cut off so to speak. Pete is different than others. Pete, despite what he is going through still speaks to him about him, giving Vegas a perspective of his life and his father he never considered. The close proximity, the basic understanding of growing up with abuse, Vegas currently being more vulnerable than he probably has ever been, and Pete being Pete are a culmination of factors Vegas has never encountered.

I don’t think Vegas showing concern for Pete was too fast. I think it’s clear Vegas is lonely. Pete is his toy and still is his toy, but the funny thing about human toys, you can connect with them without even realizing. In an instant, the smallest thing or even the biggest thing, like your toy may no longer be breathing, can trigger those subconscious emotions. Something that means nothing and is just a toy can become a real boy, a real person, in less than a heartbeat, and real emotions can grow from there.

It was uniquely done, almost like putting his brother first as he has always done but getting to say that at the end, made it clear Kinn wasn’t second in his heart. Kudos to whoever thought of that.

I was wondering if Kuhn picked up on Chay’s reaction when he saw the family picture.

The one good thing for KimChay fans after today… I think we stand a real good chance of getting to see Kim chase after Chay for a change and won’t that be spectacular!

I assume it is for sure. And the plus side, I think we will get to see Kim chase Chay.

Chay’s character development from this point is wide open. I’d like a bit of a rebellious Chay. He should go party with Tankuhn.

Oh I absolutely agree, I think that too. Today was still nasty ugly though. I am hoping side story will give us after kidnapping but before today so we get Kim’s thought. Then next week Chay punches him, and then The last two episodes they work it out, AKA, Kim begs for forgiveness cause even though he’s got his ‘reasons’ he is hurting someone innocent. Not cool.

What’s worse? Kim’s words to Chay or him grabbing Chay’s hand and flinging it away from his. He was a right nasty piece of work today.

I’m hoping side story will show Kim’s POV about how we got to today, next week Chay punching him, and last two episodes of Kim fighting to get back what he stupidly gave up. Something along those lines. I’m not giving up on their happy ending.
