i cant bring myself to continue cloy because of how silly the jump/paragliding was from eps 4 😠but your comment…
yeah that scene was pretty funny bc of the cgi but it was necessary for the plot. Ignore that and YES try finishing it! I know it's not for everyone though, it hit closer to home because I'm Korean probably.
CLOY lacked good kissing scenes. The leads were attracted to each in real life but the onscreen kisses had no…
haha wow I had no idea some people were angry about the kissing scenes. For me, I like to focus on the story more, and their love was so deep even with the literal DMZ separating them. So any scenes together were so memorable-- now I want to rewatch it hahaha
Well, it's only 6 episodes in though, but I do agree this is a much harder drama to digest, especially if you…
I just watched all 6 in two days and it's SO heavy I think it may be better to watch weekly rather than binge-watching... It's like eating six hamburgers at once-- it's only delicious if you eat it like once in a while. If that makes sense lol sorry for the food analogy idk why that popped up
I love our BeomJa. I hope she and her detectives can work with HyunWoo and his great brain to flip the tides and just sabotage all of Mr.Yoon's plans. Like every single one. UGH.
I love Crash Landing on You, so when I found out this was the same writer I immediately started watching. LOVE the CLOY references so much, but knowing this, it's so hard not to compare the two-- CLOY was just outstanding in every way. The cast, the ost, the happy and sad tears, the side stories, literally perfection. Even the beautiful yet bittersweet ending.
This one is amazing and I can tell the way it's filmed/directed, and the ost (same singers too haha) gives similar vibes. My happy place is this kind of drama, but I don't really love the whole "blame everything on the good guy" narrative we see. Even knowing everything will be good in the end, I really hate Yoon Eun Seong. More than I hated Jo Cheol Gang. Like, JCG can kidnap FL or threaten her and it's fine because the ML can just save her or whatever. But to see a villain who's smart and uses his brain for a really long-term plan?? Getting everyone to distrust our ML? This is so much harder to digest. A way better villain for sure, but honestly too heavy for my weak heart 😠I want that ë°˜ì „! The whole "antagonist plans something out but right when it's about to be executed, our protagonists are too smart to be bested and turn the situation around!! BAM." I guess it's too early for this, or maybe our writer is trying out new things.
Anyways, still watching. Just slightly disappointed and overwhelmed by how heavy watching one episode is.
Basically agree with everybody else: started off so strong but slowly fell, especially that mid ending. Love our leads, but wish their story as a couple was shown more than their work life. Idk, I just had really high expectations from the trailer I guess.
Just randomly logged on before bed to find the early release rumors were true… but everybody is annoyed?! They CUT the scenes we were so looking forward to?!?! Man… so if I want to see I can only see through the bts?? And blaming it all on censorship is :/ bc cmon there are plenty of cdramas with much more PDA to the point where you can’t watch with family… But still, I have such low expectations now— such a shame, since I was so excited for this since the trailer :(
You'll see something developing soon, ep 6 is very sweet. Ayin realizes her feeling sooner than Gujin, but he's…
Haha that's what I'm hoping for (like the opening scene of ep1) to really make me angry and depressed hahahaha I sound psycho. I'm taking it slow, half an ep at a time :)

I love xianxia because the stories are heavy but honestly so much deeper. I'm not sure why I can't immerse into this one yet though, so I'm going to keep trying to watch it slowly :) ty

Oh no, I've watched PLENTY of xianxia, and I usually love the whole despair-turned-maturity stories they all have because I feel like it adds so much depth to a drama. I just don't know why it's not as intriguing as I feel like it should be :/ Not giving up though haha
