This is just flat out boring. There is no reason why she has to hide her identity with him. Why she fall in love…
It's fascinating to see such different opinions about this drama. I personally agree with the absurdity of the plot, but it's pretty engaging and keeps me wanting to know how everything will turn out. Maybe it's just not your genre since Mr.Queen was very comedic. This one's more serious with tears... if you're looking for something less heavy, you could watch King The Land. It's also premiering right now, and has crazy high reviews (though I disagree with the positivity actually) but it's definitely an easy watch. Not really a comedy though-- it has it's own absurdity in the cliche way they do things... you'll know what I mean if you watch it.

I do not know but i am getting this hunch that if she reveals her identity to someone who knew her before there…
Yeah I think so too. The niece said she suddenly felt sick again (with no diagnosis) and it just happens to be the day ChoWon finds her suspicious so most likely something to do with this. I feel like this'll be a major obstacle-- how she gives up getting close to Seoha because she fears she could hurt him.

On See You in My 19th Life Jul 2, 2023
Okay so for those of us who have NOT read the webtoon, who do we think the two mysterious people are (the male who helped take the lady to the hospital and the female who replaced the flowers)? The female gives me Seoha's mom vibes, but I think also they could purposely be giving false hints if it's too obvious. I have no idea who the dude is though...

On another note, I feel like Seoha will find out she's Juwon when ChoWon calls her unnie or something. IDK. It's a crazy storyline, but it's fresh and unique which I love. They have the cliche moments, but it's not really cringe IMO. I really love everyone's acting-- hate the stepmom of course (why can't there be a good stepmom for once!) and Jieum's current older brother. I want to know a little more about Secretary Ha's real intentions, and the reason why the whole car crash/murder situation happened. But we'll find out soon enough I guess. :) Anyways, currently watching so many dramas that are airing and can't help comparing them to this one. Excited for more :D

In US it’s today!! 6pm I think
It says Friday for me! Is it just the new episodes coming Friday, and the prior ones are released today? Is it time to rewatch while waiting...?

Waiting for all the episodes to come out before watching is so hard when your tiktok fyp is full of their clips…
I applaud your tenacity. It's too hard for me-- as someone who hates spoilers, I can't help watch the trailers the minute they come out!

So I'm scrolling through Netflix's new and upcoming section, and I see Hidden Love!? They're adding it to Netflix on Friday!? WOW they deserve so much international love and support. I'm so proud-- really love Netflix's additions of Asian drama content. Keep it coming!!
And can our two beautiful leads film another drama together please? They just vibe so well together.

I kind of skip through so I might not be accurate, but the emperor and crown prince barely show up. I forgot they…
lmao me neither. I skip the emperor scenes so I was just assuming @LuckyScrunchy was referring to someone who made a brief appearance then.

In a way, indeed, there is a love triangle. When you get to episode 13, in Luo Zi Shang's story, you'll understand…
Of course, I'm glad to see you have a mature outlook on feedback. Even without reading the novel, I'm a bit disappointed in how he's portrayed in the drama. I was quite surprised when he decided to aid in her efforts to collect the grain-- it was a bit random because he suddenly went from opposing the Gu family to helping out. I wish they delved deeper into his character, as I can see a lot of room for expansion. As someone who lost his family and was treated as the hidden child since birth, he has the sad background but man I really wish they showed his feelings for her more. I'd love if he acted upon his feelings and established a solid love triangle (though it seems a bit late as YuRu and Jiusi are getting so much closer).
Anyways, thanks for sharing your insight on the novel!

They're... what.. 4 years apart? That's literally nothing. She's 19, not 14. I did see the controversy over someone…
I don't remember that, but I think it's pretty obvious she had a crush on him (even if she claims it wasn't til later). She was shy whenever he caught her looking, she kept the bottle of milk and doll, etc. Regardless, it was still a one-sided thing, and preteens-teenagers are allowed to develop feelings towards others. I see it as inevitable most of the time. I can understand the critic's opinion to some degree, since as a mother she may not want her child to develop feelings for an older man at such a young age. However, it's innocent and never even partly developed until SangZhi is of legal age.
Whatever, it's still immensely popular and more importantly, my daily dose of happiness.

I get that they added some of his feelings in but tbh it's weaker than the novel and honestly not that strong (in my opinion of course). He shows some reluctance to bring her out of the Gu family so she doesn't fall with them, but does he really try hard? Nope. He asks her to leave with him and that's it. Later, when nobody knows what happened to her and Jiusi (ep13-14) he's basically indifferent about whether she died or not. When they arrive in the new city, I don't even remember if they show him more than once or twice.
I can see you are connecting the novel with the show, but as someone who never read the novel I'm saying his feelings aren't really portrayed enough to be considered a love triangle rival.
It's interesting that he's playing such a small role, since he's been acting as really significant side roles and even main leads. Personally hate him as the antagonist but totally love him as the lead (did you watch Love at Night?).

Is the ONLY way to watch this atm on that youku mobile app?
I used to use kisskh.co but even with adblock they have a lot of popups. I use dramacool.hr (there are a million dramacool websites) bc this is the only one that gives me zero popups with adblock plus.

I did see the controversy over someone who commented about the child character having a crush on him... but it's just a crush. It's not like he instigated a romantic relationship. People just want to bash on successful and well-liked topics for the sake of publicity.

First of all, today's episode was too short.
Second, how can we wait 3/4 days for the next episode?!
Overall, this just makes me angry because of how obsessed it's making me with the sweetness.

It's the exact opposite for me, Hidden love was my filler drama while waiting for new episodes of Destined -
WOW no way that's pretty funny. I do know both dramas are at the top right now, and it's interesting how they're so different and attract completely different audiences. BUT also people like us who watch both and find them both fun. I'm also just waiting for Love You Seven Times bc it's apparently airing when Destined ends.

Can I just say the trailer is amazing? It gives me movie-level quality, and the editing puts clips together so well to match with the bgm. I'll be honest, it's a bit different from the drama's vibe but nonetheless whoever made it deserves some appraise.

Honestly, watching the most recent episode, I completely forgot about him. He's not relevant enough to be considered a rival in the love triangle. So I'd say as of right now, there is no love triangle.
