if you really think about it, Jaclyn has never claimed to be getting revenge for Eunha. and why would she for a sister she barely knew.

Also, none of the women in this drama are allowed to exist without being attached to a man. revenge was never a priority for Jaclyn, especially after she met Giyun. everything she's done has been to get and keep Giyun love/trust.

Yes yes yes but unfortunately most tv shows don't show that part and don't explore the trauma that comes from all these situations. Even a movie or special episode would be great to show us some more depth but alas I don't think we'll get that.

I also think JM couldn't live with everything he had done. Plus, he also had started developing feelings for someone else. It's hard to fight for their relationship cuz again we're not given much to fight for but I think too much blame is placed on EJ when they both played a part in their marriage not surviving.

Exactly. A lot of the criticism I've seen is valid enough because she did insert herself into the case and became the center of it due to her relationship with both men. Most of the hate is so unwarranted cuz half of it is people disliking her for having feelings. Junmo himself was tormented over Haeryeong, the cop guy and even Gicheol so I don't understand why Euijung isn't allowed to show her despair.

In my opinion, it wasn't just "her past feelings" for Gicheol that disrupted their trust. They all underestimated how far they would have to go for this case and I don't think either expected the situations they came across.

I do agree they both had a complex relationship with him but I think saying she's over-reacting isn't fair. We can assume even Junmo didn't want Gicheol to die considering he let him go so to call her unfaithful over her friend's death is odd to me. I understand wanting her to not have been as involved in the case since a lot of the decisions both men took were because of her and eventually led to their downfall but she's not a cheater. If Junmo kissing and (allegedly) sleeping with Haeryeon can be justified then so can Euijung kissing Junmo.
