currently watching ep27 and I want to scream. it feels like FJS (and sometimes TYL) is the only person with a working brain. it frustrates me how everyone seems to act out of emotion and not actual facts or by thinking about consequences. I’m trying to be forgiving towards Le Yan and Shitou because they’re just kids but oh em gee please just LISTEN. It really feels like FJS is the only one truly committed to making the plan work. everyone else acts impulsively and often put their personal feelings first. I’m just very irritated especially now with the issue of the coin ugh. I had to pause the show for a while because I was screaming at old Zhao not to touch his fckn nose. anws FJS best guy <3 idc if he’s a triple agent or who he’s really spying for. I just care that he tries his best not to have collateral damage and to carry out the plans in the most efficient manner.
LOL welcome my fellow disciple. We are both trapped
League of Nobleman is one of my favs from this year & Nirvana in Fire + Joy of Life are high on my list. I haven't heard of the other ones so I'll check them out, thank you!!
As far as I'm concerned, ep22 was all a dream. The way it started out with LCF and the baby coming into the room like an hallucination & ended with her waking up... had to be a dream. I understand she could've waited the 3 years or whatever but it makes no sense to me that LCF could come back alive. If the method LCF used was effective and he became normal again, why didn't that work for TQY? Why didn't they try that with all the other butterfly slaves? And how could LCJ have saved BZ when he's not her blood relative? For my peace of mind, it ends at ep21 where TQY lives with her child, forever longing for LCF. and LCJ grieves BZ and never gets remarried and is a great uncle to TQY's kid. <3
I think it's interesting that in the second story, the professor said he placed that scene in the middle because it would have readers intrigued to finish the book. I feel like the second story served the same purpose. Intrigued viewers (me) to keep watching.
There's something about the face of the ML actor... I can't tell what it is, but I don't really like to look at…
I thought I was alone in feeling like this. I don't think I'll follow in your steps and watch another drama of his but yeah this one just wasn't for me (I only got through 2eps so maybe if I had watched more, he would've grown on me but oh well).
just finished ep6 and it’s so hard for me to take the revenge plot seriously because everything about this drama is just so light and bright. the setting, the colours, the characters. Even LMX who’s giving darker undertones, still feels somewhat bright. I’m not sure what I expected of this drama so I can’t say if I’m disappointed or not but yeah. Still gonna keep watching though (for now) !

Does anyone know the age difference between the leads (in the drama not in real life) ?
