Someone being able to express their dislike for something doesn’t mean they have a personal investment. It means they’re communicative and they have the means to properly express their opinions.
The whole point of this forum is for you to state your opinion and share it with others. But when you make a claim like that, people are allowed to counter it. Me replying to you isn’t an attack on you, it’s us both sharing our opinions.

What do you mean “WHY” lol it’s because of her actions. Her being normal with faults doesn’t mean she can’t be disliked when those faults are why she is unlikeable. She’s given us more than enough reason to not root for her. And again, I bring up the vitriol you had for Jae-in at the beginning of the series. Are you like her or did you wish to be like her?

Jayoung looked down on Gichan which is why Jae-in saw him as someone she had to protect from her mom’s antics so of course she wasn’t listening. It didn’t help that Jayoung framed Seungwoo which made her seem even more unreliable. Now Gichan is the one who sees Jae-in as someone he needs to protect from his mom and Seri. a fun parallel !

She may not lie but she twists the truth to suit her in a way that it might be worse than a lie. And there’s multiple instances of her intentionally hurting others. She tries to justify her actions by ignoring how they affect others and only focuses on how it serves her. It doesn’t really matter if she feels bad about it after because she knew the consequences and did it anyway.
eg. when she called Seungwoo and had him listening in to her convo with Jayoung which led to him voting against Jae-in. She knew that hearing those words would hurt him but she did it anyway and justified it as “I’m protecting him because I have a deal with Gichan and he’ll give the position to Seungwoo after.”
and there was the time Jayoung found out about Seungwoo being her son. Instead of self-reflecting or even going after Jayoung, she went to Dohee’s mom and reopened that wound. She’s not a good person.

Also! disliking a fictional character doesn’t mean you see yourself reflected in them. there are such cases but Miran is disliked because of her actions not because viewers see themselves in her. If that’s the case, could I say you see yourself in Jae-in because if I remember correctly you had very strong negative feelings towards her?

I think he’s a year or two younger than Eunho was so maybe 6 or 7? but yeah how did she get pregnant with another man’s child and he still thought it was his? Did he only marry her because she got pregnant?

remember when all that was happening, Jae-in never wanted to hear Jayoung out. Jayoung was erratic and then the reason for Dohee’s death was overshadowed by Jayoung blaming it on Seungwoo. The family’s focus was on Jayoung’s feelings towards Seungwoo rather than the mistress situation

Even now, Lucia’s “revenge” seems geared towards the chairman and the company rather than Seri. I understand she might want to go through the chairman to get access to Seri but I’m not really understanding the goal of her revenge. Does she want an apology? Does she want to ruin the business as compensation?
