You are harsh with him. I think the guy is not perfect but he is a good person.
I agree that he's a good person. I wrote this comment right after watching episode 2 so my irritation was fresh. But I saw your comments above and I liked how you described his character 😄
I think the 2nd episode kind of shown that he is not completely wrong about Sun Ho. After being let go and told…
I do agree that the second steal is not justified but I think we should take into consideration that he's 19... And also, he took the second amount right after the first. He didn't do it after promising never to do it again. While I agree that Sun Ho should show some remorse after stealing for his brother's college, I don't think he's obnoxious. Maybe a bit shameless but not obnoxious. Not comparable to YDM at least.
Yoo Dong Man is one of the most obnoxious characters I have ever seen in the kdrama scene and he's unbearable to watch. I wish someone just came and shut him up for good. I know there's gonna be character development but right now, the way he's behaving and treating a 19 years old teenager as a 40 yo POLICEMAN is flabbergasting. He's like a menace to society, acting like he's all righteous. Sun Ho did commit a crime but he was the one to let him go. And not like Sun Ho stole that money to buy drugs and do stupid shit but it was to save his father and provide money for his brother's college... Not to mention, YDM has been working with him without him knowing it's KSH...
I find the romance between Jun and So Bin soooo unnecessary. Honestly, their trio friendship is already wholesome as it is. Love to see that Soo Hyun started healing and his relationship with others just keeps improving. It's so interesting to see the development of the characters. I just wish they focused more on Jun's backstory and not just giving crumbs. Instead of the random romance and scenes like the one where Sobin got dragged away by the sunbae. What was the point of that? They could've used that time better. Also that sunbae is back next week, I hope he has something interesting to say...
How is he annoying when he's the one being bothered and bullied all the time?
I do agree that struggles in life shouldn't be measured and that was not my intention either. Although I do agree that Soo Hyun could be a bit nicer to Jun but he also has his reasons for pushing him away. But as you said, he's slowly opening up to him. I also agree with you about both characters having flaws and I like how realistically that is portrayed. But I guess I could sympathise with Soo Hyun more because my personality and background is more similar to his than Jun's. Overall, sorry if my comment came off obnoxious
How is he annoying when he's the one being bothered and bullied all the time?
I was talking about his current situation. I do agree that his trauma from his family is extremely disheartening and I'm not disregarding his mental health. Money doesn't make up for any of the stuff you mentioned above but it does give him privileges others could only wish for. Overall, I didn't mean to invalidate his struggles but only tried to defend Soo Hyun's behaviour. Sorry if it came off as me being obnoxious
WORD. Pointing out Jun's problematic behaviour but then people come running just because they think Jun is handsome…
For real. Literally everyone is blatantly taking advantage of him and ignore his facade.
I don't even know how to comprehend the sunbaes. Their bullying is just so flabbergasting but their inferiority complex and moronity are really shining through... I hope they're gonna piss off somewhere along the drama because they are a waste of screentime.
And yes I agree, his manipulation was despicable. But So Bin also needs to sort her own mess out asap
How is he annoying when he's the one being bothered and bullied all the time?
He clearly and politely asked Jun to stop following him around at the beginning. Jun refused to do that and kept pestering him for his own selfish reasons. Jun didn't take him to the hospital, he just went there and paid for his bills. Soo Hyun didn't ask him to do that. Sure it was a nice gesture, but knowing SH's personality of course he would be uncomfortable since he hates being in debt to others. Jun suffers the most? He did have a traumatising childhood and has a shitty family, but he lives the most comfortable life. The only present thing he has going on is his desperation for attention and love. On the other hand, have you seen Soo Hyun? Can barely afford to live, is constantly being bullied, has to look after his childish brother, works multiple jobs while still going to university and has to put up with Jun's childish acts...
Disclaimer: I didn't read the webtoon so please don't come at me for it. I based my opinion on the drama.
I swear to god every single character except Soo Hyun, Young Ran and Prof. Park annoys the shit out of me. So Bin and Yeo Jun are such frustrating characters and I can't believe the three sunbaes, the pieces of shits they are. Unbelievable. The only one who makes me want to keep watching is Soo Hyun. I so feel for him and only his behaviour and actions have my empathy. I hope So Bin is gonna get stronger and develop a backbone because her current behaviour is beyond frustrating. Also, if Jun wants something, I hope he can just be straightforward with it and stop being pathetic. I understand he wants to get close to Soo Hyun (I'd want too tbh) but he should be reasonable with his actions and words and try to understand SH better.
Can we get all the SHAX boys, Ri A and Hyunji, even Dae Kwon in a new drama please??? I love their characters and acting so much. They are literally carrying this whole show even with their small screentime. I really want to see more of Lee Hyun and Ri A. Also, my girl Hyunji deserves better ðŸ˜
In the webtoon, So Bin and Yeo Joon do have romance but Yeo Joon in my own understanding is not fully inlove with…
that's quite interesting. Seeing how the drama promotions centred around So Bin and Joon. She's one of the most frustrating drama characters I have ever seen... (love Kang Min Ah though). I hope she's gonna get some development in the coming episodes
Anyone who read the webtoon, can y'all tell me where the story is going? I mean I guess there's gonna be romance between Joon and So Bin? But for some reason, I want to see the dynamics between Joon and Soo Hyun. It's so unique, I haven't seen anything like it. I don't mean it in a BL way, just in general. So Bin needs some character development before I can take her seriously. They are all doing great in terms of acting though. But Bae In Hyuk and Park Ji Hoon's acting are really stealing the show for me
The conversation between Seo Hyun and Han Jin Ho was so wholesome... How he accepted everything Seo Hyun was saying…
IKR! That scene was so sweet I was smiling throughout like an idiot watching it. From episode 1, I couldn't stand Han Jin Ho being the loud, moronic and disgraceful being that he was but episode 13 changed my mind. His character development in 13 was chefs kiss
With all due respect, I really cannot stand the face of the main lead girl. Her acting is mediocre, she looks like she's wearing a wig, her hairstyle is extremely unflattering (makes her head look huge on the top), looks like doesn't maintain good hygiene and her character seems dumb and dull af. All other cast members are so extremely lovely, interesting and funny. The main girl is just a try-hard goody-two shoes and I don't understand how Ryok managed to develop feelings for her. I'm so much more invested in her group members and all other characters for that matter. I think the female lead was really miscast and does not fit with the rest of the cast at all...
Lmao What kind of ending is this? Can't believe I waited patiently for this.Smh.
I KNOW RIGHT. I've been stoked ever since I saw the trailer and I get this garbage. In the last 15 minutes I was so flabbergasted, I was watching it with my mouth open... Unbelievable
I was really looking forward to this drama since I love all the main leads. But I have to say I'm extremely disappointed with everything so far (I got it, unpopular opinion).
For some reason, watching even their past lives made me cringe. I can't even explain why. I love Jin Se Yeon but idk why her voice and delivery are just making me uncomfortable. The way she breathes triggers that sharp noise. I find her acting awkward for the first time ever. I loved her in Doctor Stranger and her latest drama Queen: Love and War though.
And what's up with Jung Sa Bin's character? I understand the idea behind respecting the skeleton as a person and trying to figure out their past. That's completely understandable. But then she goes saying things like 'Why do you think John Doe met me after his death'? It's to resolve an unfair incident. He wants us to take him to his loved ones.' These are all her assumptions but she's stating them as facts. When she was telling CJB the remains' behind story she went 'He passed away on his way to the wedding hall carrying the ring for his bride'. Based on what did she conclude this? The ring? The rope? How does she assume he was a good person.(I was contemplating whether something inside her triggered that based on her past love). The dialogues of JSB's are just mental. She's touching and feeling the remains with her bare hand and the way she talks to them makes me think something is off in her head. She talks to them more than real humans. Her dialogues, ideals and all that talk about fate and destiny are just absurd.
I like LSH's performance so far despite him being an absolute jerk in the present. Same goes for JKY. I hope he will get more recognition because I think he's a great actor.
Regarding the story, the plot seemed interesting at first. But even after watching 4 episodes, I still find it boring. I find myself spacing out. Things are interesting around Chun Jong Beom though. Maybe the only character I'm curious about; his life, his thinking, his surroundings. But that's where my interest ends.
I'm sorry to anyone who finds this review unpleasant, but I had to express it somewhere after watching the 4th episode.
Moon Soon Ho is one of the most idiotic and annoying characters I have ever seen in a drama. I used to be irritated by all the side characters. But almost everyone else is growing on me. But Soon Ho is more annoying and moronic than ever before. I feel like throwing my macbook to the wall whenever she's on
