Overall, good drama. Plot was well developed and easy to follow. Main leads acting was very stiff. Barely showed emotions and facial expressions. Voice overs did a good job portraying the emotions.
I'm on ep 12 atm Jian Yang is such a green flag, so respectful and not too pushy. How did Tong Yao get over him so easily and how is she not fumbling when he ask to get back together??
Can someone help me understand how Jibozai got spiritual veins? Because wasn't he born without it? Was it when he took the golden millet after getting heavenly grief? If so, how does he still have spiritual veins after giving mingyi his golden millet??

This is only my opinion on their chemistry, having watched many other kdramas, I felt this lacked chemistry. You can have your own opinion. I am not the sort of fan that ships actors with previous leads, so please do not just assume this
Just finished watching. Honestly very confusing chemistry, I guess it was love at first sight for the both the leads? Also, why does Yiyang like Shuyi? He literally popped up out of no where and looked for the FL. I need more backstory to this.
Did they use a different voice actor for Esther in this? Because her voice is hard to like. I’m struggling to…
I think you will have to get used to this sort of voice when watching Cdramas. Zhao lusi also sounds like that in Hidden Love but didn't get as much hate as Esther Yu.

Yes! ZLH doesn't look as good here due to the camera angles and styling, he is also just the second male lead here. But the plot is very well developed and interesting!
