Girlie has gone through a lot I won't even expect her to act so matured, I mean put yourself in here shoes šā¤ļø
I completely agree with you, and I also agree with your point about the cultural aspect of this. Itās frustrating how often women in dramas and in real life are expected to fit into these narrow molds of perfection or 'acceptable' behavior. People complain about flat, one-dimensional female leads in other shows, but when we finally get a complex, flawed, real character like Seokryu, it's suddenly a problem. Sheās not just recovering from a traumatic, near-death experience, sheās also rediscovering how to live freely. Why is it so hard to accept that she can be carefree and 'childish' while finding joy again?
Itās about allowing women to simply exist as they are, without judgment. Letās give women the space to be human, flaws and all.
Imagine being in your 30s and still act like a teenager *cough* seok ryu.
Age shouldn't dictate one's behavior. She could be 50 and still exhibit childish tendencies, and I believe her actions were both justified and understandable.
I loved the ending it felt like the close of one chapter and the start of new beginnings for the characters. Bae SeokRyu and Moeumās adorable friendship stole my heart and Kim Ji-eun Sheās just the cutestšš I always had the urge to pinch her cheeks, and her beautiful smile is so infectious.
Bae Seokryu in this drama dealt with immense pressure as the first daughter to meet everyone's expectations. She didnāt want to burden anyone, even when she was sick and struggling. During the flashback scene with her ex, when he said something hurtful, she understood his point, which was why she broke up with him since it felt like the right thing to do. I loved watching her healing journey as she worked towards finding her dream and discovering love. It was so fulfilling to see her grow and overcome her struggles. If anyone understood her, cheers to you š
The warmth this drama left in my heart after watching it last night was just so healing and wholesome. Itās not your Typical Romcom its a slice of life, melodrama, and family centered story that captures something beautiful and heartwarming . Every character has their flaws, making them relatable. Huge kudos to the entire cast for their amazing performances, especially Jung Hae-in and Jung So-min. I was never bored because I was fully immersed in the story, watching Bae Seok-ryu face so much and eventually find love and healing within her family and friendship circle.
The leads had undeniable chemistry, with each relationship dynamic portraying something unique. I loved that the drama kept their playful bickering itās just so cute and added charm to their friends-to-lovers story. I took away some valuable lessons from this drama, like how it doesnāt matter how long youāve known someone; there will always be ups and downs in friendships, like we saw with Seung-Hyo and Seok-Ryu, or Mi-sook and Hye-suk. Despite its flawed writing, the drama feels incredibly special to me, and I truly love all the characters.
It's a shame because I like both Somin and Haein as actors so I was excited when this first came out but I've…
I've watched 15 episodes so far, and while I didn't get bored, the genre seems to lean more into slice of life than a typical romcom. If this one didn't quite work for you, don't feel bad maybe you'll enjoy their next project .
The friendship between Misuk and Hye-suk in the drama is one of my favorite parts. Even though theyād been friends for years, Misuk sometimes felt insecure and compared herself to Hye-suk . I really liked how they made up in episode 15 it was a touching moment that showed how true friendships can face challenges but still heal.
Iāve watched 15 episodes of this drama so far, and I never got bored, and now Iām down to the last episode. I love how all the characters are complex and realistic. It explores different dynamics of people being in relationships, including the main leads. I have liked most of the episodes, but episode 15 was especially wholesome.
Iām currently on episode 13, and since the drama includes an ex storyline and focuses on multiple character…
I see what you mean! Maybe they stretched that part since it's a slow-burn drama to reveal the backstories. I get it too, and Iām not looking to argue either haha.
What reconciliation, they were friends of a lifetime and meant to be reconciled eventually provided that they…
I donāt see how it was forcefully induced, it feels more like a scare tactic for us viewers. Before they hinted at something being off and they explained why she was experiencing that. I enjoy angst, and I don't think it was unnecessary. Her professional life was well- executed, and they wrapped it up as it should have been, especially since her retirement has been discussed for a while.
If you hated the drama so much, why didnāt you move on from it? Itās easy to criticize the female lead for…
Sheās a flawed character, and itās unfair to address her this way without considering the real life challenges many people face. Her decisions, while risky, were made for reasons I mentioned.

Itās not directly linked, itās used for brain imaging related to her condition. However, the doctor found nothing wrong with her aside from what she was experiencing.

I watched it closely, and the doctor explained that she was experiencing short-term memory loss due to stress, causing her to feel disoriented about her surroundings for a brief period.

The complexity of their bond showed that withholding information did not equate to a lack of trust. Seok Ryu's choice to keep certain things private stemmed from a desire to protect her mother or her own struggles, rather than a failure to love. Each character navigated their emotional boundaries, demonstrating that love was not solely defined by openness.
Ultimately, I understood that the daughter's actions reflected her internal conflicts rather than a lack of affection for her mother, highlighting the depth and genuineness of their relationship.

The after fight reconciliation happened when Misuk realized she needed a wake-up call, as her feelings of inferiority toward her best friend had been affecting her judgment something that can happen even in long-lasting friendships. the male lead's mother got lost in the woods due to her short-term memory loss.
The FL is dumb, self centric , someone who first invited misery upon herself and then cried.sabotages her relationship,…
If you hated the drama so much, why didnāt you move on from it? Itās easy to criticize the female lead for her mistakes, but everyone makes questionable choices under difficult circumstances. Her struggles with relationships and emotions, particularly after facing something as traumatic as cancer, might explain why she acted out. Instead of seeing her as self-centered, maybe it was more about her learning to deal with her vulnerabilities.
As for the male lead, calling him a coward seems a bit harsh. People miss opportunities out of fear, and waiting for someone wasnāt necessarily about being a "backup" it was about unresolved feelings. It wasnāt just a straightforward love triangle.
If the episodes felt long or the ending didnāt satisfy you, thatās fair, but it also raises the question what kept you watching past episode 10? If the drama truly had no value, why stick with it?
I believe it deserves higher rating like 8.5 or 6 here and you are a sly , down below you called the drama shitty.
Episode 15 stands out as one of the best, delivering everything I could ask for. The heartfelt reconciliation between the moms, the heartwarming rooftop scene, and the sheer happiness radiating from everyone made it truly memorable. The plot, with its slice-of-life and melodrama elements, has kept me hooked. What I loved was the pacing of the relationship between the leads they didnāt rush into it by episode 8, like many dramas do, but instead it unfolded beautifully by episode 11.
With just one more episode left to watch, Iām eager to see how they conclude everything. Iāll definitely have more to say once Iāve seen the final episode, but so far, Iām giving this drama a solid 9.5/10. It has consistently surprised me, and the heartfelt moments really stand out.
This drama has been a wonderful experience for me from start to second to last EP , even though I didnāt start watching it weekly like some others here. It began with a strong foundation and has never been a disappointment. For me, itās a healing family drama, filled with romance, love, and friendship, and Iāve never found it boring especially when binge-watching.

I was expecting the leads to have an unnecessary breakup in episodes 14 or 15 not because I like it, but because itās a common clichĆ© in Kdramas. However, nothing like that happened! Itās not your typical romcom itās a slice of life, family drama, and healing journey than just romance.
