Basically when he chased her after she heard the conversation with the senior, she told him that he only wanted her now because he is used to her chasing him around. And now she is tired of how he is acting now (him telling the prof she is not suitable for the research and the chocolate incident) and doesn't want to see him again.

Was pleasantly surprised when I saw episode 15-18 released as I thought get to watch them only next week based on MDL.

Now I am amazed how they condensed all the "coincidence leading to misunderstandings", "love rival suddenly keep appearing" and "I am not good enough" tropes in these 4 episodes. Add in some toxic characters.

By episode 18 I was just cursing and swearing at all the draggy angst. What a waste of the previous episodes, what a waste of my ML... I know growing up is part and parcel but it just too drastic and deliberate.

Sad... but the ending of ep. 18 is interesting though. :)

Anyway nice to see the bestie of the ML from "Summer Again" though not credited here... he is funny as usual. Teresa Li from "Truth or Dare" I see her credited but I didn't spot her?

I just watched episodes 15-18. Majorly disappointed

I didn't think much of it initially until I read the comments here... then I noticed it.

Oh the friend is loud and super irritating... at least until episode 11 which I am at now.

Almost every scene with her, she announces her presence with a loud and whiny "Haiyaaaa"... I just wanna close the streaming app...

So far I am up to date at episode 14. The FL stayed behind for one more year as she didn't do well enough to study in the same city with the ML. So as she is facing all the stress of retaking the exams back home, the ML came to visit just before school starts for him and saw the FL's senior consoling her (and the episode ended). Not sure if that is the cause of the misunderstanding etc... since as of now they are still on good terms. There is no break up as they they not even together yet.

I keep yawning at her scenes... yeah ppl are super busybody in this show lol

DC is duoluo? I dropped that one but it's not because of her acting there. She is okay here though I thought it looks a bit the same as in DC so you may not like it.

I think he did better here than as Mr Ling...

Terry Liu did quite well here.

That part is so funny... I burst out laughing at the owl scene....

As mentioned earlier the FL was borderline annoying after watching the 1st episode... She actually got better after the 3rd episode but guess that's because the focus is not on her being unlucky in love anymore. However now I am at episode 7, Ma Yi Yi became the super annoying one - cannot stand her. She acts as if there is a zombie apocalypse and she hasn't seen a human dude for a long time.

Thanks! I have iqiyi and all 8 episodes released as well (I don't need subs)... just not too keen to go beyond episode 1 tonight. :)

Caught the first episode...

Yet another typical Cdrama weak, silly and clumsy FL. Borderline annoying and not very funny (yet? I hope). Just completed YAMG earlier tonight so the FLs cannot compare...

Almost wanted to stop halfway but the ML is just too goodlooking. He looks much better in modern dramas than his previous roles in period dramas.

May give it a couple more episodes because of him.

Mercedes is quite obvious but okay since it is part of show... but I didn't notice Mikimoto! Nice! I see a lot of Balenciagas in dramas nowadays so guess designer clothes are a norm.
