Agreed, I get what you are saying. Initially I thought she was too desperate as well and harassing him... that part I actually watched on because of the ML. It became more enjoyable when they started to get close to each other. The overbearing CEO trope, it is like 2 dramas in one now. So he really acted that way because he watched dramas of this genre?

Guess I am in the same situation as you. In fact last week when it was released only until episode 12; I read about the misunderstandings that lead to the 3 years separation and was procrastinating to start 13 when it released. I finally started and while that part is still acceptable, what happened after the 3 years became even more difficult to watch.

I haven't watch 19 onwards yet so I am not sure if she did anything perverted in those episodes. In the beginning when she went after him, at least she was straightforward in her thoughts and actions. The parts when she suddenly kissed him and ask him if he thought she wouldn't dare do it, and the parts she cried over him at the friend's gathering - these are a few of some scenes that made the first half cute and enjoyable.

He was concious and dared WY to do it which she did (if that is the scene you referring to), WY was unconscious when he did it.

Exactly, initially when he couldn't help it and refrained I thought at least he had integrity. Then he thought over it and decided it was okay to do so and went ahead with it... gosh,they broke up so he can actually be arrested.

I had to stop at ep. 19 when he tried to surprise her with his sudden appearance but saw her getting into the lawyer's car. Putting this on hold. The typical rich bossy CEO is one thing, the constant coincidental events leading to the misunderstandings are a joke.

Exactly, he was the "imperfect" ML that I dig so recently, then now he just turned into a common bossy cold CEO. And turning in that because of dramas and thinking it is okay, how matured is that? Yawns.

Wuyan is obsessed with him in a cute way. He is just acting like a bossy CEO now. Nothing special.

Precisely, he is not acting as if he is sorry for putting her through all the crap, even though he didn't caused it intentionally - it was still because of his stupid attitude.

As you mentioned, he was great in the beginning... now he is just a common cold and demanding CEO we see so often.

What a waste as the first half of the drama has been great and a pleasant surprise since I started it without much expectations. I really felt for the FL at ep. 14 as I had a similar experience just recently.

Then it went downhill thereafter, too many bad coincidences leading to misunderstanding... enough angst from the lead couple and they decided to pile on more with the second couple - skipped all their scenes. Just glad it ended well for them.

I had to stop in the beginning of episode 19 as the ML is really getting irritating and I would have dropped it (just call instead of appearing suddenly, you in position to pleasantly surprise her?).

He is probably better if he stayed the way he was in the first half.

This is better than Summer Again and Flourish In Time. :)

A pleasant surprise. As of many dramas of this genre, secondary couple is the lead's besties/friend etc...

Didn't think I would start a high school drama so soon after completing Summer Again. Was just browsing, clicked on this and got hooked! Binge-watched till 3am and finished up to episode 7.

I really like the ML and while the characters were a bit too childish at time, this is true to how high-schoolers should act and it felt real. FL reminds me of the FL from the Jdrama Marry Me!

I didn't read the novel, it is only until they got married right? Just wondering if they have kids... since in the new trailers they are 38yo and I didn't see any kid(s). What a waste of good genes if so. 😁
