NOVEL SPOILER ALERT FOR THOSE WHO ARE INTERESTED BUT DON'T WANT TO READ THE NOVEL.
I'm gonna give you a tiny little spoiler from the novel - PhumPeem case. For those asking "why We Are has 16 episodes, it makes no sense":
We Are is not a story about becoming a couple and story ends here. We Are is a story about becoming partners and finding common grounds while already being a couple.
It's not a typical BL we watched million times. It has typical tropes, yes. But it's different. At least for me 🤷♀️
Hmm 🤔... This episode was ok... Cute again and funny like the last two but what about the plot? 16 episodes…
Kinda spoiler from the novel!!!!
70+ chapters of the novel... If they'll use the drama from the novel in the series (partly I hope they won't), there will be drama. Like... Near-death drama. If not, it's gonna be cute and fluffy 16-episode show 😂
I haven’t started this but seeing how much episodes it has, I feel it’ll start to drag after sometime with…
many people are terrified by the number of episodes, but the novel on which the story is based has 70+ main and some special chapters. there is a lot of material and there are 4 couples, they need more episodes to show everything
I loved the first ep! Everyone was great, acting was amazing, humor was on point. I'll praise everything about this show and not a single one of you haters will change my mind. Aou was the funniest, I adore Poon, Phuwin sold every single one of his scenes, WinnySatang are super cute, MarcPoon are a match made in heaven, PondPhuwin's chemistry is one of the best, can't wait to see what AouBoom will show us! Oh, and those asking why its 16 eps and if they'll able to do it well - the novel has 70+ chapters and specials. They have more than enough material (if you want to read it, there are fan translations on twitter - at least 2 accounts were translating it)
X/twitter:* Thank you for informing us...* Fighting for the reshoot* Stay strong.* Can't wait to see you* Don't…
Twitter being the most civilised really surprised me. Instagram and Facebook? My lord, help. The comments I've seen on Tiktok have been mixed, but I've actually seen more 'we're happy' comments, so idk
Yes, it seems a bit strange if you look at it that way, but you cannot tell me if a disabled person had a way…
Yes, some of the people with disabilities would take the chance. But tbh, as a person with chronic illness (not disability as such but still), I saw LT as a "they see me as I am" and "if Day can be happy, I can be happy too". And at the end of the day, they took it away from me, and many other people. I love the show, with it's ups and downs. But for me it ended in that ballroom.
Good series, but the ending, especially those last minutes? Not it.
They could finish it at their happy reunion. But no, obviously.
For me, there was 0 to none reason for Day to have his 2nd donation. He found his happiness, accepted his disability, found his love, had his (now bigger) family on his side. But no, apparently the only way for Day to be truly happy was to have his sight back. And yes, I know, he wanted it previously. But... After 3 years of accepting who he is and loving who he is, was it really needed?
I'm just kinda disappointed. They had perfect opportunity to show that disabled people can be happy with their disabilities. And they took it away, just because.
BUT everything they did to show how Mhok grew up and accepted his past - perfection!
MhokDay's lovestory was beautiful and no one will take it away from them.
You're not the only one who enjoyed HA! I loved it, I loved they took typical Thai BL tropes and made them new…
Yeah, it's really annoying how they (J9 fans or JD haters) lower the rating on purpose and are proud that they did it. The fact that people were hating on this series even before it was out... come on. I might be bias, but wth...? And then week after week they were shitting on each episode like someone was forcing them to watch it. I understand someone might not like the series, that's fine. But at some point the comments were saying so many bad things about Dunk (not about his acting, but about his look and whatever else they thought they can say), that I had to delete the app from my phone. I knew MDL is a perfect place for hating but WOW, my lord, they sometimes really don't know when to stop. I just hope actors (all actors, not only JD) never look at MDL and read all those nasty comments.
It doesn't matter if some people hate me. And let me be alone here - but I enjoyed it. A series to have a good…
You're not the only one who enjoyed HA! I loved it, I loved they took typical Thai BL tropes and made them new and fresh. Dunk improved A LOT and Joong was perfect as always. I don't understand the hate this series get, but I'm pretty sure most of people hating this series were people who actively hate JoongDunk (Dunk, to be precise).
The fact this show has high 8.0 rating is beyond me. I guess people don’t care about there lack of chemistry…
What's irritating for me is that they put 2 great actors together... that has 0 chemistry in this series. They're great friends but just can't act well together. It was such a painful disappointment, idk why it has an 8, it definitely doesn't deserve that high of a score
MarcWin 10/10 PerthChimon... well... (edit: I love them, I really do, they both are amazing actors... they just don't work for me as a couple, Chimon is just not made for BLs) Nope. I'm sorry. Just nope. 4/10, disappointed but not surprised, it all went downhill after ep 2 with some ups throughout.
Am I the only one who is disappointed? Like, don't get me wrong, it's a good show, but not what signed up for and it annoyed me so much. I feel like something went wrong and the last ep was just... not it. I can't really explain it, but idk, it didn't work for me. It's def not a rewatch-worth series for me 🤷♀️
I watched first 2 eps and then stopped (not bc it's bad or something, just had other things to watch), so I have a genuine question - what's the plot? You can spoil it to me, idc, I just need to know if there's more than just sex in every ep. Thanks!

It was just a disappointing ending, nothing more and nothing less 😉
