Yes, exactly!! In the end does it matter what intentions he has (good or bad) if she still ends up as a walking corpse? And she doesn't even know the guy in the beginning, just her analysis of the character she's read in the script (even if incomplete) and all the rumors that are going on about him.
She doesn't understand his motivations, because Nan Heng himself did not initially care to express himself, justified that he may be in making himself seem a powerful villain.
Later on as well, all he does is talk AT her, rather than being honest. I also get that he's scared to let down his guard. But this is the stalemate that the characters find themselves in, and I am actually okay with how YM has been reacting to things developing.

I think that is the satire...something that is so obvious to us and should be obvious to the female leads in most dramas, but now that she's in the script world she makes the same mistake as not recognizing a person under a mask.

Seriously! Like we know what Nan Heng has been up to and we know how he has been feeling, but our FL doesn't have the entire picture. How can you easily trust someone who has literally tried to kill you multiple times, and will do much worse because it's literally in the script.
The FL-hate is insane right now.
But I also hope both interact with each other more truthfully from now, because I feel like the FL has had less focus in the drama as a character.
