I feel like they aren't portraying hau Yong properly in the show. in the novel, yes he is still crazy BUT you see his actual love for Sheng and can sympathize a little more. in the show its kind hard cuz you aren't getting inner dialogue.

epsiode 3 was boring compared to 1 and 2 but it might have just been a filler epsiode to get more backstory so its fine.

my only complaint is wtf was that wedding. why was Tony and winner there?! like wtf lol. I understand willy cuz he did reconcile with them at the end but Tony and winner?! come on

just finished and gave a 9. I liked it sooo much more than season 1 which i only gave a 7.5. I liked this storyline a lot more

I really like it. I binged watched 14 episodes in a day lol. its pretty funny at time and can be dark at other times. it has a really good mix of emotions. the background story is pretty dark but the tone is pretty light, so I'd say its pretty mixed.

the synopsis is kinda putting me off lol but I think imma still watch and form my own opinion. ive seen thay a lot of people are rating it low just bc of the switching so I wanna see for myself

im on epsidoe 4 and I have a question. so the real tianyan is actually bad right? like she was undercover working for the demon realm but bc she was taken over by the new tianyan, she obviously forgot. am i right that shes actually suppose to be bad?
