in my opinion the trailers have the same feel as the trailers they released for LBFAD. In my opinion they didn’t convey the overall feeling of the show properly and marketed as more comedy than drama, which I believe might be happening here as well.

i haven’t really liked any xianxia since LBFAD which is sad because I love fantasy genre. I was excited for Love You Seven Times and the one with Zhao Lusi and Wang Anyu but both ended up disappointing. I LOVE these two leads and I think they’ll be great together so hopefully this will be the one!

I feel like the best dramas lately have been ones with minimal promotion and low expectations. they get popular then because of their quality. I love these two actors so staying hopeful.

This one has been entertaining so far, though it took me a few episodes to get into it. I can’t speak to the ending though as I’m not familiar with the game.
Having a lot of fun watching both Sword and Fairy shows right now. I wish there wasn’t so much competition and we could just watch both as individual shows and enjoy them. I think they’re good so far!

Ah yes, I’m sure you really struggled to see the character development in the 1 episode you watched. That’s definitely the problem you have with the drama….
I don’t think you should rate a drama you only watched three episodes of. It’s like saying you didn’t like the food at a restaurant when you only tried a soda.
