What could have been a masterpiece that could stand toe-to-toe with the Reply series (that for me is still the ultimate Youth drama series) ended up crumbling with its last episode fully. I would say that Episodes 14-16 were weak in general.

It is not that Baekdo ended. That was a given from Episode 1. It is how poorly written their breakup was. It is how 9/11 was weirdly used a plot-device to split them. It was how the Yijin and Heedo we knew for so many episodes vanished so quickly. Yes, time changes people, but you cannot shove that into one episode and expect the audience to accept that along with the dozens of plot-holes and the lack of an ending for Yijin. Even Kim Tae Ri said that she told the writer to change the ending.

All in all, I will however commend Tae Ri and Joo Hyuk's acting and chemistry. I will always treasure whatever we got of Baekdo and their rainbow.

I have this rated at 10 stars but I am very much prepared to reduce it if the ending turns out to be a mess............genuinely have never been this nervous and stressed for a kdrama finale in my LIFE
